Bear strolled into man’s backyard, then he has a blast playing with a ball he finds there
Just typical bear behavior, no big deal.

Here are some things that we know bears like: grass, nature, food, and emerging from hibernation in the spring. But did you know that they also love playing with toys?

At the time, winter was coming. That means that most bears are getting ready to go into hiding and never see anyone or anything again for the rest of the season. They garner as much food as possible and then boom, hibernation.

But not this bear though! This bear wasn’t quite ready to go to sleep for the next few months… He wanted to play. And so play he did.

The moment took place on October 27 in Colorado, at the snow-covered home of Scott Willhite. He was roaming around his place when he noticed the bear crawling around the yard, presumably in search for some food. But he stopped for something else.

It was a soccer ball.

All of a sudden, what was meant to be a quick pass-by was now a long hangout session. The bear decided that he liked the snow-covered soccer ball very much, so he decided to stick around and play with it.

I mean, he has a thick layer of fur all over his body, right? Who needs a jacket? Who is even affected by snow? The bear could hang out there all day if he pleases!

Scott took a video of the bear playing with the ball and posted it to Twitter (which you can watch below) and it is pretty hilarious. In the clip, we see the bear tugging at the ball with his teeth, cradling it with his paws, and falling over and rolling around on his back several times.

It’s needless to say that Scott will need to get a new ball too since it is completely deflated at this point. Good luck kicking that thing around after this bear got to it!

Of course, it was not ideal to have their foam ball get destroyed, but Scott and his family did not mind. They enjoyed watching the bear unfold in their backyard, as it’s not every day that something like that happens.

It was wildly entertaining not only for Scott, but his kids too!

“The boys loved it and could not stop giggling,” the father told Storyful. “The ball, however, did not fare well.”

Apparently, the big furry guy stayed in the backyard for around five minutes which, probably felt like way longer for Scott and his family. It was definitely long enough to truly make a memory last in their minds forever.

On the night of October 27, parts of the Boulder area had accumulated up to 7.5 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service.

Now we have a question for you. If you saw a bear doing this in your backyard, would you be angry that he killed your ball or would you laugh your face off like this family did?!
