The Old Butcher’s, a bar in the UK, was recently slammed on TripAdvisor for being a little too hip and a little too well-lit.
Behold, a merciless review:
Yowza. No honest combatant goes straight for the dungarees, yet here we are. The owners of the bar replied the only way that felt appropriate – with a brand new cocktail, served cold.
Well-played, sirs, well-played. As you might expect, the Old Butcher’s epic trolling of their Trip Advisor troll drew rave reviews in the comments.
To us, the whole episode sounds rather like some kind of European drinker’s blessing: “May your drinks be cold, and may your complaints be put on the menu.” Cheers!
