Seals are, hands down, one of the cutest little animals out there. Theyโre like cartoons come to life, with their big eyes, giant whiskers, and plump little bodies. I dare you to look at one and not go โawwww.โ
Seals are found in most bodies of water around the world, from the arctic waters to the tropics. Although, there are fewer species that live in the warmer waters as theyโve got all of that blubber to keep them nice and warm in even the coldest of waters. Theyโre incredibly durable creatures that brave the most treacherous of seas. Be careful, though, because where there are seals, there are almost certainly going to be sharks!
When one baby seal decided to see what some human friends were up to, the internet absolutely fell in love.
These werenโt just any humans, though, it was a group of the US Navy undergoing some routine training in the water.
Itโs unclear whether or not these are members of the Navy SEALs, or if they are a different section of the Navy, but for the sake of this video, letโs just assume that they are, because itโs just too perfect!
The unitโs commanding officer saw this little guy and took a moment to break character as a tough commander, and turned into a someone who absolutely melts at the sight of something so cute! I mean, can you blame him?

The US Armed forces do so much for our country. They dedicate their bodies and their time to serving us citizens and keeping us safe in our cozy homes. The rigorous training they go through make them some of the strongest and courageous people on the planet. If you have a service member in your family, make sure that you take the time to occasionally thank them for their service, and even more importantly, to tell them how much you love them.
While the training is normally very intense, there are also moments like this where everyoneโs able to smile, laugh, and take joy in this adorable little baby scurrying alongside them.

Have you ever seen anything so sweet? I wish I could scoop the little guy up out of the water and give him a big old hug. Then, Iโd thank the servicemen and women for their service to this country. A double whammy!
