If youโve experienced an armed robbery or you know of someone who has, then you understand just how frightening it is. Having a stranger walk into your business with a weapon in hand isnโt a laughing matter. Sadly, a lot of people have lost their lives because of this very type of situation.
Once in a blue moon, an armed robber does something so unexpected and well, stupid, you canโt help but laugh. That was the case when one man got the idea of robbing a place. But letโs just say things didnโt go quite the way he anticipated.
Where are the manners?
In a video that more than 800,000 views have now watched, you see a man standing at the counter of what appears to be a deli or diner. The man stands there with a hoodie over his head and a black bag in his left hand. He places the bag on the counter but instead of being acknowledge, the owner working behind the counter completely ignores him.
Taking care of business
This business owner is far too busy taking care of his customers to focus on the would-be armed robber. In the video, you see him finish packing up a sack lunch, which he then hands to someone who was waiting in line. As he goes about his duties, the owner doesnโt even glance at the person intending to rob the place.
Sorry budโฆstill working
The owner behind the counter keeps doing what he needs to do to keep his paying customers happy. At this point, the man trying to commit armed robbery is starting to feel a little rejected. So, to make himself appear more serious, he opens the black bag. Now, we canโt hear whatโs being said in the video, but heโs still not getting the attention he wants.
โMaybe if I point my gun at himโ
Iโm pretty sure thatโs what this robber was thinking. But nope, that didnโt work either. Instead of even looking at the bad guy, the business owner turns around to start working on another customerโs order. Itโs almost as though he doesnโt even see the man or the gun pointed in his direction.
Andโฆheโs out of there
Realizing no oneโs going to give him the cash in the register, let alone the time of day, the armed robber gives up. Thatโs when he grabs his black bag and his gun and leaves the property. Talk about having a bad day. Thatโs what I call rejection at its finest.
He meant business
You can clearly see the gun in the manโs hand as he walks out of the business. So, it seems he was serious about holding the place up. The problemโฆno one else was interested in playing his game. According to Inside Edition, this took place at a shop in New Zealand where people love to go for lunch.
I donโt know if this guy is crazy or the business owner is accustomed to people trying to rob him. But either way, itโs 1 for the owner and 0 for the bad guy. Check out the video for yourself by clicking on it below.
