Teachers often complain about cellphone use in the classroom. It’s a clear distraction and takes away from the learning experience of any every student in the classroom, not just the one using the cell phone.
This has forced teachers to combat cell phone use with a variety of policies. Most typically ban cell phones altogether and will punish a student accordingly if they are caught using a cellphone.
However, an macroeconomic professor at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has a different policy. If a cell phone rings in his class, he forces his students to answer the call on speakerphone. But a recent incident has made him wish he never implemented this policy in the first place.
April Fool’s Day usually has jokes on a smaller scale then this, but I’m so glad the class worked together to put together this prank! This is hilarious!
