I'm not a fan of bugs, but this was actually really cool. I think these ants could teach us a thing or two about working together!

When you think about insects, what comes to mind? Ants that risk their lives in order to save their comrades? I think not! These miraculous creatures, the “Desert Harvester” ant, are roaming all over the Mojave desert rescuing fellow aunts from the grasps of hungry spiders.

The ants not only rescue each other, they also destroy the rest of the silk tombs by ripping them to shreds. This type of behavior is very rare, only chimpanzees and mountain gorillas are known to destroy traps by taking apart poacher snares.

In Some Cases, The Rescue Missions Become Suicide Missions. Up To 6% Of The Rescuers Get Stuck, Becoming Dinner For The Spider.

Watch closely, as this group of ants ferociously pulls and tears at the silk web until finally their fellow insect is freed from the would-be grave. While you can’t exactly ask the ant how it feels to be alive, I’m sure he’s thrilled.

Who would have thought, the ants we often consider “pesky pests” are actually brave soldiers, earning Purple Hearts in the ant world. I defiantly would have never guessed, out of all creatures, ants have the wherewithal to accomplish such an extraordinary task.

When it goes right, this is like the best scary movie ever. You’re trapped, the serial killer is just toying with you, taking his sweet time before torturing you. Out of nowhere, a swarm of your friends and family appear, rip your restraints off, freeing you before its too late. Just to make it better, they flood the killer’s basement that he uses to hold captives and slash his tires.

This Is Not The Only Amazing Things Ants Are Known For, They Also Carry Their Fallen Soldiers Away From Danger And Burry Their Dead.

Thats right, they rescue their friends and family from the clutches of hungry spiders. They carry fallen soldiers to safety and give the dead proper burials. The Ant, might just be my new favorite animal.

These Ants Can Teach Us a Thing Or Two About Working Together And Being There For Our Fellow Human.
