Whether you’re keeping up your summer body or playing with your children, jumping rope is a classic fitness activity. It’s fun, easy to set up and clean after, and there are many games that are associated with jumping rope.
However, using a jump rope involves some coordination. You need to make sure you are moving the rope at the correct speed so you don’t fall over it or hit yourself with it, and then you need to make sure you jump in time so you don’t end up tripping over the rope and falling face first into the floor.
With the proper coaching, you can easily become a jump rope master. But can anyone become a jump rope master?
Based on the video below, yes.
In a short video captured in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China in 2016, five adorable toy poodles jump rope together.
Together, the talented poodles have amazing coordination! Though they don’t always jump in sync, it’s still a very cute sight to see.
It’s one thing to get one dog to jump rope, but it’s a great feat to get five dogs to jump rope simultaneously.
However, as gifted as these dogs are, there is another set of dogs that set a world record.
13 dogs from Tsukuba Japan’s “Super Wan Wan Circus” hold the world record for the most dogs skipping rope.
Considering the dogs are filmed from a variety of angles, clearly, they are comfortable with jumping rope and enjoy it based on their reaction at the end of the video.
Clearly, both sets of dogs have a lot of potential. If dogs can now skip rope easily, who knows what they’ll do next!
