1. 40 years laterโฆ
We donโt know about you, but thereโs nothing that warms out hearts more than seeing a couple grow old together. We canโt believe that this couple were able to re-create their old picture 40 years later so perfectly! From the location, to the outfits, and even the hair, everything is spot on.
2. Find a barber you trust and stick with them.
Finding a new barber can be a daunting process, and many of us still stick with the same hairdressers that weโve used our whole life. But not many of us have the privilege of having the exact same person cut our hair as when we were a child! These two much have a really special relationship.
3. The amount of growing my snail has gotten done in under a year. From a 4cm shell to a 17cm shell.
Before we saw this photo, we thought that snails were cute and harmless- if a little gross. But we canโt help feeling a little freaked out by this giant snail! Who knew they could grow this big?? Its cage must be huge! At least one thingโs for sure- you couldnโt ever accidentally step on something this big.
4. Friends 45 years later
It takes a really special friendship to grow all the way into adulthood, where your busy lives and differences might end up with you growing apart. So how special is it that all five of these ladies were lucky enough to remain friends? We love the effort theyโve gone through to recreate this picture as well, even down to the props!

Drug addictions can ruin lives, and for some people, theyโre not able to get things back on track. But this amazing lady decided that enough was enough, and she put her whole heart into turning her life around. She looks so much healthier now, has a baby, and is absolutely gorgeous! Itโs never too late to turn your life around.
6. Boston 30 years apart
Weโre used to seeing city transformations where they end up looking more built-up, so isnโt it refreshing to see that Boston is a lot more greener after 30 years? With global warming having such a damaging effect on the world, weโre glad that some cities are listening to the warnings and deciding to do something about it. Besides, who doesnโt love the park?
7. Me and my sister had some awkward middle school years
Middle school is never a great time to look back on. It seems to signify those awkward, teenage years where youโre not quite sure how to dress or how to style your hair, and you most likely have braces. These sisters looked adorable as middle-schoolers, and now they have transformed into gorgeous adults!
8. Uncles backyard two days apart- New Zealand.
New Zealand is said to be one of the most beautiful places in the world, and if you need a picture to prove that fact, then here it is. We canโt decide if the snowy scene or the scene with the rainbow is more beautiful! If it wasnโt for COVID, weโd be tempted to book the next flight over there- especially as itโs Spring time over there at the moment.
9. My daughter and me on Lookout Mountain 2006 | 2019 Montreat, NC
Some things never change, and the bond between a dad and his daughter can only grow stronger. We love to see families recreating special memories from childhood years, and we can tell that these two are still just as close as they were back then. Dads are truly the best.
10. Dying plant vs corrected care!
Admittedly, weโre not the best at keeping after plants, and when we see them inevitably beginning to die, itโs normally around the time that we admit defeat and throw them in the trash. So we were surprised to see that a dying plant can actually be fixed, and it can end up looking beautiful! The moral of the story? Donโt give up!
11. My grandpa and his dad almost 100 years ago. Tesla model 3
This picture just goes to show how our ancestorโs hobbies and passions can be passed down through the generations, and thereโs something heartwarming about seeing how both these men have such a love for cars. Just imagine if the grandpaโs dad could see what kind of car he owned in this modern age! It makes us realize how incredibly short life is.
12. Nobody picked her because she was the โuglyโ kitten. Just look at her now!
In our (cat loverโs) opinion, this cat was never ugly in the first place! Even as a kitten, she had the most beautiful markings, and they show up all the more in her adult years. Where do we find a cat like this?
13. 5 years apart summer 2014 to summer 2019, muscle gain and fat loss
Thereโs nothing more satisfying than seeing a fitness transformation, and this man has done a great job. Although we wouldnโt exactly consider him unhealthy in the first snap, itโs clear that a lot of work has gone into his transformation, and we bet heโs really proud of himself. Great job!
14. One year ago I buzzed my head, and now the floof is back (and I gained white hair)
We didnโt realize how quickly hair grows until we saw this picture- no wonder our partner is always going for a trim! Although thereโs no explanation as to why the woman shaved her hair, weโd take an educated guess and say that it could have been for charity. Either way, you have to be pretty brave to shave off all your hair- so good on her!
15. This poor baby was giving me those sad eyes until we finally got her home and she became a whole new dog. Welcome home Chloe!
It breaks our hearts to think about all of the sad, lonely dogs wasting away their years at a shelter, so pictures like this always fill us with immediate joy. You can see clearly just how happy this dog is now that she has her own loving home. If that isnโt a good enough reason to adopt, then we donโt know what is.
16. Five months later in Australia after the rains
Although in many places of the world, rain is considered to be miserable, gloomy weather, it is welcomed with open arms in some countries. Earlier on this year, Australia battled some of the worst forest fires the country had ever faced, and the hot, dry weather just made things worse. So when the first drops of rain began to fall, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
17. Me and my son, my son and my grandson
If youโre sentimental like us, then this picture will bring instant tears to your eyes. We canโt get over just how similar dad, son and grandson all look! People talk about wanting fame and riches to be successful in life, but all you truly need is a loving family.
18. Before and after cleaning over 30 years of tarnish off my grandmawโs spoons. She hand picked each one from around the world.
This has to be one pf the most impressive spoon collections weโve ever seen, and we think itโs a totally original idea of what to collect on your travels! We love that the grandchildren went out of their way to give all of their grandmaโs spoons a good polish, and we think they look even more impressive now theyโre all shiny and clean.
19. โThis on the left was one year ago vs Yesterday. I never thought I would go out in public wearing a crop top!โ
Although most of this girlโs body is hidden from shot, itโs clear to see just from her face how dramatic her weight loss transformation is. Itโs great that losing weight has now given her the confidence to go out in a crop top, and itโs truly moments like this that make the struggle worth it.
20. Prom 2009 and Wedding 2019
Itโs not often that you see childhood sweethearts get married, so itโs lovely to see these before-and-after pictures from prom to the wedding. Whatโs interesting is how the pair have both changed looks-wise, yet theyโre still clearly head over heels for each other! It just goes to show that love is a lot deeper than whatโs on the surface.
21. Two different labrador commissions, three years of experience.
In our eyes, both of these pictures are amazing in different ways. Theyโre two completely different styles, with one being more realistic, as opposed to the other cartoon-ish one. Whichever one you prefer, whatโs clear to see is that this person has serious talent.
22. Me and my husband in the same preschool class at 3 years old in 1994 & our kids on the first day of school in 2019 at 3 and 6 years old.
Our minds are blown at how similar this married coupleโs children look to their younger selves. The little boy has the exact same expression as his daddy, and the girlโs cheeky grin is exactly like her mamaโs! Isnโt that just the most heartwarming thing?
23. Mr. Olympias, Franco Columbu and Arnie, have been playing chess for more than 50 years.
When your friendship is solidified by your love of chess, then why ever think about ending the friendship? Weโre amazed that these friends have been playing together for over 50 years, yet none has got tired of the otherโs company. We wonder who wins the most games?
24. Chris Hemsworthโs transformation for Thor
Actors often have to transform themselves for different roles, and we have to thank the producers of Thor for Chris Hemsworthโs dramatic transformation. Admittedly, he was already pretty attractive before, but we love the rugged look that he was going for in Thor. Itโs like a feast for the eyes.
25. Jonah Hillโs inspiring weight loss
Jonah Hill is another actor who often switches up his look for different roles- and as the comedy actor, his character often benefits from being a little overweight. But we think he looks almost unrecognizable these days, and shows off his new look in films such as Superbad, The Sitter, and This Is the End. Big credit to him!
