Dogs and cats are curious creatures. When they go outside to play, they want to sniff and explore everything and everywhere possible. So, of course, itโ€™s only natural for them to want to get up close and personal with a funny-looking, flying thing like a bee! The only problem isโ€ฆwellโ€ฆbees sting.

Here are 13 pets who got a little too close to a bee and the sting left them with adorably swollen faces.

We donโ€™t want to giggle, but we canโ€™t help it. They look too cute. And donโ€™t worryโ€ฆno animals were seriously harmed and the swelling went away after a few days.

In this household, the family puppy actually ate a bee. Her throat didnโ€™t swell shut, but her face definitely ballooned up. Itโ€™s currently the biggest part of her body
