When you watch ice skating events or even on television, you rarely see a kid and an adult together in the rink. But, an amazing performance during the Golden Skate Awards in 2019 amazes the crowd.
Most kids love to be on the playground to run around, walk, play games, and just have fun with other kids. But for this young boy, Alexander Plushenko, the ice rink is his playground.

He wowed the crowd during an event in Milano when he showcased his figure skating talent.
At a very young age, he has been practicing hard to be able to skate on ice like a pro. No wonder, he makes the crowd go wild over his performance. Even if he’s still young, he can perform the risky stunts that we often see with adult figure skaters.
His best mentor has taught him, and that is his father Evgeni Plushenko, who started his figure skating lessons at the age of four.
Evgeni Plushenko is a famous Russian figure skater. He readily makes it in the international scene by his quick progress and his passion for figure skating. At age 14, he was awarded the World Junior Champion and World medalist. He was the youngest ever to get such recognition.
He has won so many championships and awards since then.

It’s no surprise if his son Alexander follows his footsteps and makes it big like him. The young lad’s awesome potential is undeniable, and it is evident in the video.
Alexander’s presence in the rink instantly amazes the audience.
Seeing the young boy skate his way to the center, the crowd is so surprised. With the spotlight focused on him, the crowd cannot wait to see what the boy will do. But they show their support, and they are in a loud cheer by his mere presence.
Alexander was born in January 2013. This means that he was just 6 years old in the video.
He is dressed in black long-sleeves and slacks, with details of red sparkles on his vest. He is waiting for the music to give him a cue to start showing off his prowess in the rink.
When the song begins to play, the kid raises his arm. He then makes the first impressive turn. Well, this is only the beginning of something extraordinary. Even if he is just young, he shows confidence and carries himself with poise as he performs his routine.
The crowd goes wild with his stunts.
He performs a single axel after going around the ice rink. Then, he goes for a double-axel spin. He is such a mighty young boy and fearless in doing the stunts.
He is a gem and a star in the making.
Although the music for his performance is mature as he dances to “Tango Amore,” he gives a fantastic interpretation despite his innocence. Every move is perfectly executed.
Probably, you have seen young kids skate on ice, but there is something extraordinary about Alexander. He is poised, and he is like an adult in a child’s body in the way he moves.
His performance is totally incredible that’s why the crowd enjoys every bit of it.
A little later, Evgeni Plushenko joins him on the ice. Seeing the famous figure skater and champion perform with his son is magical. The audience cannot contain their excitement.
They skate together in perfect harmony.
They perform side by side and make identical moves. It’s incredible how young Alexander can keep up with his dad’s energy and ability.
At the end of the performance, you can easily see how proud the father is of his boy’s remarkable performance. He gives a high five to let his precious boy know that he did fantastic with his routine.
This young figure skater has so much ahead of him. We hope he continues his training and become a champion someday, just like his very talented father.
