Young children often have an idea of what they want to be when they grow up; a doctor, an astronaut, or a fireman.

Due to their age though, this can often change, sometimes even throughout the day, it can switch from one thing to another.

For one little girl though, she knows exactly what she wants to be and is getting her training in early.

Worthy Rigelsky is a 5-year-old little girl who was born with Down syndrome.

She was born in China and adopted by the Rigelsky family at an early age.

The family welcomed her with open arms and knew they would do whatever they could to help the girl thrive.

For Worthy, this meant letting her play with their hair.

Her older sister, Kalista, realized early on that the young girl liked playing with and brushing her hair.

Instead of trying to curb this, Kalista encouraged it and made sure her hairbrush was always within reach.

This soon turned from Worthy simply brushing her hair, to straightening it and adding product.

Though the hair straightener is always kept unplugged while Worthy works, she loves to do it regardless.

She soon began showing an interest in makeup as well, and Kalista acted as a willing model.

Worthy quickly picked up what each product did and how best to use them, she even knows the best colors and shades for her big sister’s eyes and complexion.

As well as trying her skills out on her sister, Worthy has also begun practicing her own makeup, she loves putting on eyeshadow and blush especially.

Even her older brother has gotten in on the party, and though he doesn’t want his makeup done, he does let Worthy brush his hair.

Kalista recalls that even from an early age, whenever guests would come over to their house, Worthy would grab the hairbrush and start brushing their hair too.

Kalista says that the best way to describe her little sister is with two simple words, “Pure joy.”

Like most children with Down syndrome, Worthy is very tactile and Kalista thinks this is what led to her love for hair.

She also says that her sister is a perfectionist and that is visible in the linked video, Worthy was not satisfied until every hair was in the perfect place.

Even when she decided to give her sister a tousled hair look, she was still very precise in her efforts, scrunching up the back and then making sure it lays perfectly.

The sisters decided to start posting their time together on social media.

Together they share the TikTok account ‘WorthyandKal‘, and they both also have their own Instagram accounts at ‘@kalistajaideee‘ and ‘@downrightworthy‘ which is run by her mother for the time being.

The love these two sisters share for each other is clearly visible in all the pictures and videos they post together.
