Lilly Anderson may only be six-years-old, but sheโs capable of leaving an entire room awestruck with her talent.
One of her performances took place at the Hall of Fame Dance Challenge in St. Paul, Minnesota. Although many skilled dancers managed to light up the stage that day โ Lillyโs solo was recognized for an award.

Some people discover their passion at a very young age. Weโve seen musical artists who started singing as toddlers and Hollywood stars who were born to act.
It goes to show you the importance of helping a child pursue their natural gifts. For Lilly, sheโs a dancer at heart.
When it was Lillyโs turn to perform in the competition, she walked into the spotlights wearing a pink outfit covered in rhinestones. She laid on the ground in a pose waiting for the music to begin.
Suddenly, the song โMy Heart Will Go Onโ filled the room, Lilly went into action.
Within the first few moments, it became evident just how strong and flexible the tiny dancer really is. Her moves are graceful, but also extremely mind-blowing as well.
Lilly dances around the stage using a mixture of techniques that flow together beautifully. She can bend her body like an acrobat โ and does so effortlessly during her routine.
Having a cover of โMy Heart Will Go Onโ playing in the background adds to the emotion of the performance. If youโre like a lot of people, the song itself can put a tear in your eye. So combined with the visual of Lillyโs dance creates a powerful scene.
The Titanic tune was created by lyricist Will Jennings and composer James Horner. Canadian artist, Celine Dion, is most famous for singing it โ although she wasnโt too crazy about it in the beginning.
She told Billboard:
โWhen I recorded it, I didnโt think about a movie; I didnโt think about radio. I thought, โSing the song, then get the heck out of there.โโ

Ironically, โMy Heart Will Go Onโ became a mega-hit that still impacts listeners to this day. It reached no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts โ and is considered one of Dionโs signature songs.
Many artists have covered the track that has many of us picturing Jack and Rose from the Titanic. For Lillyโs solo, musician Julia Westlinโs rendition can be heard playing through the speakers.
All jaws must have been on the floor watching the young dancer. She has such incredible agility and strength, especially for being only six-years-old. The dedication she must possess for dancing really shines through in her performance.
Everyoneโs heartstrings were pulled as Lilly played along with the songโs theme. A lot of facial expressions were included in the routine (choreographed by Kenzie Larkin Symanietz) to make it more impactful.
Itโs moving to watch Lilly while listening to the lyrics.
โNear, far, wherever you are โ I believe that the heart does go on. Once more you open the door โ and youโre here in my heart โ and my heart will go on and onโฆโ

In the end, Lillyโs dance performance was so stunning that she received an award. She came in first place in the category of Little League Open Solo!
