He was on duty that day and needed to report back to work. But he didn’t leave without giving an assurance to the little boy. As a backup plan, he told Ronnie that he would come back later that night and watch a movie with him.

Ronnie is aware of his past and would never forget his mom and sister. Despite the awful things that happened in the past, he has fond memories of them that he intends to keep. For Ronnie, being with the Blairs is a new life that he is thankful for.

His new family also instilled in him a mantra they want him to live by.

“I am safe. I am loved. And I’m a part of this family.”

For someone who’s been through a lot at such a young age, this mantra is something that Ronnie can count on his new family.
