Harrison “Piano” Crane is a young piano player who really knows how to get the crowd going
The 12-year-old boy has made quite the name for himself on YouTube, where he posts impromptu performances that almost always go viral. He takes to the streets of Liverpool, England, and plays epic pieces on the cities street pianos.
In this video “How to attract a crowd in 4 minutes,” Harrison Piano plays a wonderful mix of popular songs that leaves people watching stunned. At the beginning of the video, you can see the piano prodigy begin playing with not a single person watching.
Within a few seconds, onlookers start to gather to watch him play
When people hear the ’90s song “Children” by Robert Miles, they can’t help but stop to watch the gifted piano phenome. After playing the song for a bit, Harrison smoothly transitions into “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” by Eiffel 65.
By now, a crowd has begun gathering to watch the young pianist light up the street. That’s when he starts playing “Sandstorm” by DJ Darude and more and more people begin stopping.

People watching begin taking out their phones to record the impressive show, determined to catch a video of the powerful music played by the young boy. He moves his tiny fingers so fast you can barely see them, but this is nothing new for Harrison who’s been playing piano since the age of five.
Harrison’s favorite era of music is ’90s music, which is why he often chooses popular music from the 1990s when performing on the pianos at Liverpool One.
“It’s unbelievable – 90s dance music is the best kind of music, it’s so fun and upbeat,” Harrison told Good Morning Britain.

Every transition he does is perfect, blending each song into the next one like a real professional. It’s easy to see why so many people stopped to watch the pre-teen musician, how he plays this well at such a young age is beyond me.
To think this was right before the unprecedented pandemic at hand is mind-boggling, his next video that goes viral will have probably have the crowd sporting masks and staying 6ft apart.
For the grand finale, Harrison brings it back to where he started and plays “Children” by Robert Miles again
In one last spectacular display of piano skills, Harrison plays the song he started with before the crowd erupts in cheers for the 12-year-old musical sensation.
Harrison’s YouTube channel has more than 27.6 million views, with this video getting a good chunk of them.
