In 2017, things have changed. Cars have become sleeker, phones have become smaller, and technology is evolving so fast it’s hard to keep up with sometimes.
Likewise, traditional gender roles have changed too. Gone are the days of women staying at home and tending to the house while the man goes to work all day. Now, 45.9% of employees in the United States workforce are women, and that number is projected to increase in 2018.
As women continue to take control of their professional lives, some are also taking control of their dating lives too. Instead of waiting to be asked out on a date, these 30 women below decided to take matters into their own hands.
One British relationship blogger by the name of Oloni challenged her female followers to ask a man out on a date.
What culminated was a series of screenshots known as the #DateChallenge where women shared their results.
Regardless of gender, asking your crush out can be intimidating. But hopefully the way these 30 ladies handled it will inspire you when you’re feeling bold and daring.
