One of his YouTube makeovers that’s gained popularity is titled “I Feel Alive.” And the woman getting the makeover was very excited about it.
She even grew her hair out so that Hopkins could transform it any way he wanted to.
“I have been growing this for you and you alone to do whatever you want with it,” she told Hopkins.
But before he started to cut, color, and primp, she handed him a copy of his book so that he could autograph it for her.
Which he did happily.
And when it was time for her makeover, she couldn’t have been more pleased with the results. The woman originally had hair medium brown hair that fell just past her shoulders.
“This has been on my bucket list,” the woman said of her makeover. “I don’t want to look dowdy. I don’t want to look matronly. I’ll do anything to my hair.”
Hopkins chopped it off into a chin length bob and gave her some cute bangs. He also dyed her hair red which perfectly complimented her bright blue eyes.
“I love it, I love it,” she said of the end result. “I feel alive. I just had a really good feeling about the whole experience. I never felt nervous from the moment I started.”
The woman said she was really excited to show her husband.
“He’s going to love it!”
Hopkins was just as pleased with the transformation as his subject was.
“Definitely one of my favorites. I tried to encapsulate the best of her many moments on camera,” Hopkins wrote in the caption to his video.
