Applying makeup is an art, one that takes time to perfect. The artists who have mastered this skill are able to transform their faces, changing everything from the size of their eyes to the shape of their face.
Qi Huahua is one of these talented people. This amazing artist transformed every part of her face, and the video has now gone viral.
Huahua first posted the video on Chinese video platform YouKu. The video was quickly reposted to 9Gag’s Facebook page, where it immediately received thousands of views. Soon, the video had over four million views!
In the video, Huahua shows viewers how she transformed her face. She goes through the process step-by-step.
The video begins by showing what Huahua looks like without makeup. Then, she begins the transformation process by applying white cream to her face, arms, and neck. After that, she applies more foundation.
Huahua then turns her attention to her eyes. She begins by stamping her brows, darkening them and filling them in.
After that, Huahua puts on fake eyelashes and applies eyeshadow to her eyelids and below her eyes. With just a bit of makeup, she’s able to make her eyes look twice as big—that’s some serious talent!
Huahua then puts tape on her jawline to change the shape of her face. After that, she puts on lipstick and a prosthetic nose. Then, she looks like a completely different person! In the description of their video 9Gag jokingly says that this transformation will let someone get away with murder.
Since this is the internet, Huahua knows people are going to accuse her of faking the video. And so, to prove that it’s really her under all that makeup, she shows herself taking it all off. The video ends with Huahua bare-faced again, happily waving at the camera.
In the video’s comments, people discussed how shocked they were with Huahua’s transformation.
One woman was amazed by Huahua’s skill—she said that she couldn’t even hide a pimple!
Another woman commented about how happy Huahua looked both when she was wearing makeup and when she was going all-natural.
