After losing 43 pounds, Diana was feeling frumpy.

Although Diana is pretty, her uneven skin tone ages her beyond her years. Her hair is long and frail, and (as her hairdresser later notes), her bangs are very short— which, in terms of cutting, leaves him with limited options.

She’d worked hard to watch her diet and exercise right, but even after losing 43 pounds, she still didn’t feel as good as she should.

“I’m just kind of feeling frumpy and ready for some massive change,” she said.

“Feeling outdated; looking tired, tired of looking tired.”

According to some professionals, it’s a pretty common feeling.

When someone loses weight, they often have unexpected dilemmas to contend with.

Depending on the amount, some may be left with sagging skin. Other women, approaching their weight loss goal, realize their clothing is much too big— but there’s no point buying a whole new wardrobe when they will shortly change sizes again. For others, perhaps their self-esteem didn’t improve as much as they expected after simply losing the weight. Whatever the scenario, Diana was feeling these emotions, and she knew she needed help.

To regain her confidence, she booked an appointment with Minneapolis’s Makeover Guy.

We’ve covered Christopher Hopkins (AKA ‘The Makeover Guy’) extensively in the past. But, if you’re unaware, here’s a little introduction.

Hopkins has been performing makeovers for over 20 years. He believes that women get better with age, but they often feel less confident. To help combat the aging blues, Christopher dishes out amazing makeovers that help aging women feel just as great as they look.

In this video, you see Diana’s incredible transformation.

For the most part, Diana seems open-minded about the change. During her pre-recorded interview, she tells the camera: “I would like to see something exciting. I’m excited!”

“I’m going to let him do what he wants.”

Throughout the rest of the video, you see little clips of the transformation in action. One of the most notable moments is when Hopkins takes a look at her bangs. He teases her about having cut them on her own before coming, but she laughs and tells him they’re actually grown out.

Although he hides it well, Chris reveals in the video’s description that, for once, he didn’t know how to proceed.

“With very long, thin and weak hair, she had cut her bangs short leaving me unsure of what I was going to do,” he writes.
