Everybody loves a good musical with great choreography. From “Grease” to “Footloose,” everyone has a classic they just can’t get enough of. In this video, we see a newlywed couple accomplish the iconic “Dirty Dancing” scene, and they make it look easy.
What is it about “Dirty Dancing” that makes it a classic?
Not only does “Dirty Dancing” have great music and choreography, but the plot and all of the subplots are also so interesting you can watch the movie anytime, over and over again. No wonder this couple wanted to dance for their wedding.
The music starts with the classic, “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life” and the applause already begins, because everyone knows what this song entails. Adorably, on the screens in the background are the couples many attempts to do the iconic lift.
Their outfits even give you a feel of the iconic scene.
The bride, Stephania’s dress, definitely favors Baby’s beautiful dress she wore during the scene and the way the groom, Aaron’s sleeves are rolled up to give you old school Patrick Swayze vibes. They start the dance the same way they did in the movie, and this couple looks like a pair of professionals.
The groom dips his bride, and they continue with the dance. Aaron and Stefania both look so happy, and this moment is so beautiful and heartwarming to see and be able to be apart of.
The dance routine was leading up to the iconic moment.
With every twirl, Stefania’s dress would swirl most gracefully, and the couple continues to kill the performance. The plot of this in the movie is when Patrick Swayze tells Jennifer Grey he is in love with her, and they dance, a perfect start to a marriage as well!
The audience, full of family and friends, couldn’t contain their excitement as the newlyweds continued their dance routine, all waiting for the big moment. They even did the beautiful spin with Aaron holding Stefania in the air in the perfect position.
He kisses her hand before making his way to the other side of the dance floor.
The groom looks very pleased with himself while he struts around the dance floor, doing his own little dance while preparing for the moment everyone has been waiting for. He waves to a few friends and family members, and the look on his face is one of pure joy.
He does his own little jig before walking into the crowd coming back with his groomsmen right behind him, joining the dance, and looking absolutely adorable. Then the moment comes, and she runs into his arms with him picking her up and holding her perfectly in the iconic position.
This couple makes it look easy, although with the many attempts playing in the background, we know it took quite a bit of practice. The audience goes absolutely wild when this happens, and you can feel the excitement and joy from everybody in the room.

There couldn’t be a better moment to be announced husband and wife then when you are in the air in the iconic “Dirty Dancing” routine. This couple looks so happy, and this will be a moment they can cherish for the rest of their lives. They made their own iconic moment, and it couldn’t be more heartwarming.
