Luke Vincentini is an independent cake artist in New Jersey who has now gone viral for his amazingly realistic confections.
The 23-year-old makes stunning traditional cakes but is now known for his ultra-creative endeavors. Many of his cakes take the form of the most unexpected โ a cell phone, avocado toast, or a carton of eggs, for example.
Getting his start at Carloโs Bakery in Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey โ also known as the site of the TLC show Cake Boss โ Vincentini says his creations can take up to 14 hours to make.
Not only is his Instagram page a feast for the eyes, but the videos he posts of him cutting into these amazing cakes are oh-so-satisfying.
Take a look below at 38 of his most stunning creations. They look almost too good to eat.
1. Spectacular strawberry
From the leaves to the seeds, this beautiful cake is not only detailed to perfection, but itโs multi-layered!
We canโt imagine the trimming and shaping that went into this chocolate beauty.
2. Sweet Doritos
Probably Vincentiniโs most famous cake, this bag of Doritos is edible on the inside and out.
The details on the โbagโ are so realistic that you might not realize itโs a cake until you see the photo with the cut.
3. Take-out talent
One of his most recent creations, Vincentiniโs take-out cake is simply incredible.
Itโs a good thing he cut into it himself because we donโt know if we would have had the courage to do it.
4. Amazing avocado โtoastโ
Yes, both the avocado and the toast are edible.
This magnificent cake is so detailed that it even includes some residue on the pit and โsalt and pepperโ on the toast!
5. Minion madness
Looking a little toastier than your average Minion, this cake is a kidโs dream come true.
We just wonder how they felt when mom or dad cut him open!
6. Dr. Who?
Sci-fi fans would die to have this Tardis cake at their birthday party.
But is it bigger on the inside?
7. For your little princess
Vincentini makes wedding and baby shower cakes as well, including this amazing carriage creation for a yet-to-be-born little girl.
Weโd love to know what flavor is inside that carriage!
8. Puppet perfection
This cake is a detailed replica of the set of a show called โDonโt Hug Me, Iโm Scared.โ
And, believe it or not, every part of it is edible!
9. His and herโs
These miltilayer wedding cakes might look more traditional, but no one can argue tha the detail is still spectacular.
10. Glorious graduation
We donโt know the story behind this cake, but weโre going to guess itโs a graduation cake for a Broadway fan or a theater major (or both!).
Either way, itโs putting on quite a show.
11. Delicious duck phone
Remember when we used to make phone calls? On landlines? That looked like ducks?
If not, then this cake is best left to the pre-Millenial generations.
12. Creative carton
We donโt know if this was a request or just an experiment, but either way, itโs just strange enough to draw our attention.
The eggs are even different colors like they would be at your local organic grocer.
13. Bag of goodies
Weโd happily carry this bag around all day.
It takes packing a lunch to a whole new level!
14. Off with their heads!
Not only is this impressive for Vincentiiโs sculpting of fondant, but the painting of the Red Queen is gorgrous as well.
Vincentini is certainly an artist in every sense of the word.
15. Wonderous watermelon
The artistry that went into creating the seeds and painting the skin is incredible on this watermelon cake.
Weโd be happy to make this our daily dose of fruit!
16. Hamiltonian
Celebrating the musical Hamilton, this cake is sure to be a hit among the two fans itโs dedicated to.
Even the rope is edible!
17. Wooden wonder
We havenโt counted the rings inside to see how old this cake is, but weโre willing to bet it took quite a long time to create.
Just look at the painted detail on that bark!
18. Slashing the claw
Hereโs one for the basic folks. Itโs no pumpkin spice latte, but itโs the next best thing.
Make sure to click the link and watch the super-satisfying video of Vincentini cutting it in half.
19. Spectacular succulent
Yet another masterpiece that hardly looks edible because of its magnificent detail.
We have the feeling weโd want to save that succulent as long as it would last.
20. Hey Siri, make me a cake
Is it bad that we love this cake primarily because it makes us think about a day when our inbox doesnโt have a little red number next to it?
Which iPhone model do you think this is?
21. Cartier craftsmanship
This beautiful red Cartier jewerlry box has us wondering whatโs inside.
What flavor that is.
22. Cake chop
Chopping wood is hard, but chopping a cake that looks like wood is our kind of exercise.
Once again, Vincentini shows off his amazingly detailed painting skills by truly making this look like a real log.
Just donโt throw it into the fireplace!
23. Piece of Picasso
No doubt based on Picassoโs famous โPersistence of Memoryโ painting, this cake is an art-loverโs dream.
Weโd be willing to bet even the legend himself would have wanted a slice.
24. Cup of cake
Yet another cake thatโs worth watching the video for, this really had us believing it was a latte until we saw it come apart.
Even the spoon looks real!
25. Thatโs money
You can take those bills all the way to the bank in this edible Gucci wallet.
And we canโt stop marveling at how detailed that money is.
26. Pure luxury
For those times you canโt afford a Rolex, but can afford
something decadent, why not try an edible Rolex cake?
Check out the wood grain on the inside of that box!
27. Hedwig makes us hungry
We feel just as somber as this cake looks when we watch Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
And weโre loving the Sugar Daddy reference too.
28. Nutty
New to working with satin glaze, this recent creation is a squirrelโs dream.
This is one acorn they wouldnโt want to bury.
29. Marvelous masonry
Weโve certainly made cakes that felt like bricks before, but we have the feeling the craftsmanship on this one means it actually tastes good too.
30. Lovely lemon
From the detail on the outside of the lemon rind to the faux inside that looks like itโs ready to squeeze, this lemon cake is a fan favorite.
This is definitely out kind of fruit cake.
31. Frosting with flair
Even when heโs making a semi-traditional cake, Vincentini manages to add some extra flair.
Weโre pretty sure those feathers are edible โ and we canโt imagine how long they took to make and paint!
32. Black tie baking
This might look like your standard wedding cake, but from the beautiful glaze 0n the outside to the detail on those flowers, weโre willing to bet this was a hard one to cut into.
Even the leaves look realistic!
33. Fondant fan club
Ok, so maybe itโs just a round cake, but when was the last time you had a cake that replicated a logo so perfectly?
34. Bottoms up
We can only imagine how much effort goes into building and trimming a cake into the shape of a bottle.
And how does he make it look like real glass?!
35. Fabulous flowers
Even the realtively mundane is stunning when a true artist is involved.
The bright colors on this cake give way to some beautifully detailed flowers.
Weโd be happy to help taste-test this beauty.
36. Alien landing
Apparently, they love the NHL on other planets as well.
Weโd feel kind of bad cutting into this little Arizona Coyotes fan.
37. Gorgeous garden
As pretty as a painting, this cakeโs flowers are meticulously rendered.
The detail and depth of that rose is our favorite part.
38. Made in memorium
To celebrate the life of his late grandmother, Vincentini recently made this cake.
From the marble detail to the edible โdirtโ and delicate flowers, you can tell this was a labor of love for the cake artist.
We donโt know about you, but weโre certainly ready for dessert now!
