Firemen Bring Smiles And Laughter With Dance Moves
They brought a smile to my day.

British record producer Mark Ronson released a song back in 2014 and to this day, it is still an awesome jam for music lovers around the world. It was a smart move on Ronson’s part to have a man named Peter Gene Hernandez take the vocals. You probably know him as Bruno Mars. The half Puerto Rican and half Filipino superstar is a heck of a singer and performer bringing so much charisma to the song.

The music video itself has over 3.8 billion views and counting.

Of course you’ve already guessed the song. “Uptown Funk” is a funky, lively, drive or dance to kind of jam that people cannot get enough off. So much so that it’s a popular choice for doing those online challenges like these guys from Orting Valley Fire and Rescue.

The entire department got together to do a lip-sync challenge and these guys did not disappoint. It’s hard to argue when the video has over 5.1 million views. There are a lot of covers and challenges using this song but this has to be one of the best.

You have to look cool doing it too.

So this sleepy guy wakes up to the song’s intro and he mouths off the part that goes, “Doh! Doh-doh doh, doh, doh-doh…”

But he doesn’t seem to want to get up! Leave it up to the truck’s driver then. Sunglasses on, uniform buttoned up, and he is, “Stylin’, wilin’, livin’ it up in the city.” But no tux here. This man has his own style!

Uniforms and lawnmowers and an ambulance because they mean business.

These guys used everything they had in the station and they perform with such passion. Looks like they took a certain part of the song to heart.

“Called a police and a fireman”

There’s no shying away from dishing out their moves too. Some are cool, some are funny, and you get the feeling that they spent a lot of time thinking and preparing for this.

This guy brought the country disco flavor to the party.

A lot of thought went in to each scene too. The woman on the phone, assuming she’s the dispatcher, looks to be furious with whoever’s on the line and when she loses it, she just breaks in to a wild dance. Great way to relieve stress!

What we’re wondering is… Do fire departments have trumpets lying around? Because…

Those trumpets hit that hallelujah.

The colors and backgrounds used are so striking and add to a cool visual effect for each scene. And what performance is complete without the red, white, and blue proudly displayed? Drink that cup, sir!

And who says helmets and safety vests are just for protection?.

Even the injured and his rescuers want in on a little funk. Smile even though you’re in pain! These guys have adoring fans now as a result of this successful video. Here’s one.

“Coolest fire fighters ever. They save people in style lol”

They really are “Smoother than a fresh jar of Skippy.”

Get a workout in while lip syncing because why not?

They brought out all the soul and funk they had and it is one of the coolest lip sync challenges out there. Even the mascot is in!

It’s videos like these that add to the charm of “Uptown Funk” and it’s great to see uniformed men and women having fun during work.
