Many women tend to have some sort of insecurities about their bodies. Whether itโs a specific body part or even as a whole, women in todayโs society often feel the pressure to be โperfectโ and attractive. As much as they should be confident and proud of their bodies and who they are, sadly, some women just donโt feel that way.
Tori, a 50-year-old from Iowa, wasnโt feeling confident about herself lately. In fact, she was feeling so insecure that it was preventing her from sharing her gift with the world โ her art.
There came a point where Tori decided she wanted to stop feeling sorry for herself and do something that would lift her spirits. Thatโs when she made an appointment to visit the famous Makeover Guy โ Christopher Hopkins โ in hopes that it would help boost her confidence.
Prior to receiving the makeover of her dreams, Tori sat down for an interview to explain a bit about herself. As she speaks, Tori canโt help but become a bit teary-eyed saying:
โI havenโt had the courage to really take my art into the world and be open to criticism from other people. So yeah, I just want more freedom.โ
Tori recently hit a big milestone when she turned 50 โ thatโs what makes this makeover even more special.
The Makeover Guy is very well-known for making people feel like brand new, happier versions of themselves. Not only does he transform their looks on the outside, but he helps change them on the inside too by helping them see their potential and worth. Thatโs why he was the perfect choice for Tori when she knew she wanted to make a change.
โChristopher Hopkins (aka The Makeover Guy) has a best-selling book called, Staging Your Comeback: A Complete Beauty Revival for Women Over 45. He also inspires and lifts spirits through his popular YouTube channel (which has more than 328K subscribers),โ explains Spotlight Stories.
Tori was ready to be happy. She was ready to break out of her shell and share her art again.
โIโm ready to walk through life and say โI really donโt care what other people say.โ Itโs what I want and what I feel โ what I feel moved to do,โ she says in the video below.
Christopher got to work and completely changed Toriโs hairstyle and he and his team gave her a gorgeous makeup look as well. The Makeover Guy explains:
โTori felt dragged down and tired of her heavy long hair. With a desire for freedom of movement and a hairstyle that better reflected her inner artist, more color to her face and some snappy highlights, she left with a bounce in her step.โ
Once the makeover is complete, Tori looks absolutely stunning. Sheโs even shocked to see her reflection in the mirror.
When Toriโs friends and family finally see her transformation, their jaws drop in total shock. You can tell that there has also been a transformation on the inside because Tori is just beaming with pride and confidence.
Of course, once the video was shared online, commenters weighed in from left and right.
โShe looks like Jane Fonda in her prime. She was stunning before, but he really brought it all right to the surface and made her a star โ those eyes are so amazing,โ one person said.
