With its unbeatable prices, Uber has become a super-trendy form of transportation.

In the last couple of years, the transportation company has revolutionized the way we transport ourselves from one place to another, beating local public transportation services as well as taxis.

But sometimes, it ends up being less reliable than any of those modes of transport. This is what happened to a customer who was taking an Uber to dinner.

When taking a ride in Las Vegas, one passenger went on a very unpleasant journey.

As the passenger made his way to his dinner location in the Uber, the police stopped the vehicle. The driver was pulled over because his license plate was apparently suspended, and he also had two warrants for his arrest. The passenger took pictures of the incident as it was taking place.

As they were waiting, more police officers came around, and the Uber driver seemed to be pretty upset about the situation. The passenger eventually exited the vehicle and went on with his night.

Little did the passenger know that his bad luck had only just begun.

As he received his receipt from Uber, he was surprised to find out that his trip had cost him $148.32 for only 37 minutes and less than 5 miles.

According to Uber, a cleaning fee caused the excess price.

The passenger did not understand why he had been charged such a fee. According to him, no damage had been made to the car while he was in there, and he tried to explain the situation of the driver getting pulled over by the police to Uber representatives. He also mentioned that he was just going to dinner and that he was not intoxicated at all. According to the passenger, the driver must have been upset about getting pulled over and, therefore, charged a ridiculous cleaning fee.

Unfortunately for the passenger, the Uber representatives did not believe his story.

They replied by saying that although they take these matters seriously, they had reviewed the information provided by both the driver and the passenger and had concluded that the passenger had urinated in the car.

Apparently, the driver had submitted pictures of urine in the car, and the Uber team concluded that the passenger had messed up the car badly. Therefore, they refused to refund the cleaning fee.

This response was really not what the passenger had expected.

He repeated to tell the Uber representatives that he did not cause any damage in the car. However, they couldn’t believe that the driver had gone through such intense measures to make the passenger look guilty.

He continued his response by reminding the Uber representatives of the fact that the Uber driver had been pulled over and wasn’t supposed to be driving in the first place. He was shocked that his safety was not even being taken into consideration and that Uber would allow for a driver that had a warrant for his arrest to continue driving.

The response from Uber was yet again disappointing.

They restated the fact that a cleaning fee was to be collected when a mess occurred in the driver’s car in order to pay for the cost of cleaning the vehicle. To assess the cleaning fee claim, they take photos from the driver and assess the situation, and they concluded that the passenger must have messed up the car. Hopefully, the passenger will be able to sort out this messy situation.
