Starting with fresh, wet hair right out of the shower, she adds a heat protectant spray to her hair – though no heat is needed. Then she uses some product to for shine and to help keep the frizz down. After smoothing it from the roots and combing it thoroughly throughout her hair, she places a t-shirt on the bed and lays her head down on it in order to wrap the t-shirt around the base of her neck. She pulls the shirt around the head using the sleeves to tie it down, effectively creating herself a turban. This helps protect the curls as the hair dries overnight.

Once she removes the t-shirt the following morning, she reveals stunning curls that cascade down her back It’s a simple way to have a beautiful hairdo that looks like you spent numerous hours curling it.

Cindy and her son Aaron had never anticipated what was about to happen when the TODAY Show’s Ambush Makeover team selected them for a life-changing transformation.
Cindy, who hadn’t cut her hair in 45 years, was long overdue for a change, and her son Aaron was following suit.
Thanks to Cindy’s sister Kim, who nominated them for the show, they were flown from Ohio to New York for a complete style overhaul.
Not only did Cindy need a new look, but Aaron, her son, also deserved a professional update.
Aaron was just starting his own business, and his aunt believed a new style would help him make a great first impression.
Neither Aaron nor Cindy had any idea that they were about to experience a dramatic transformation until the day they arrived in New York and learned that they had been “ambushed” by the makeover team.
As Kim described her, Cindy was the “stronghold” who supported everyone, including helping Aaron get through college.
Aaron himself acknowledged his mother’s constant care, saying,
“She’s always taking care of people.”
He was excited for the chance to give his mother the pampering she so deserved, and he, too, was looking forward to an updated look, saying he wanted “something more sophisticated, something more professional.”
Next, it was Cindy’s turn, and her transformation was just as jaw-dropping.
Her family was overwhelmed with emotion, and her husband, who had never seen her with short hair in their 45 years of marriage, was especially excited.
Cindy couldn’t believe her eyes when she finally saw her reflection, saying, “I don’t even look like me. Wow!”
The new haircut, along with a fresh color and updated wardrobe, made Cindy look 20 years younger.
She embraced the stylish leopard print shoes as the finishing touch on her stunning new appearance.
