An ordinary trip to IKEA turns flash mob proposal in seconds of couple walking through doors

Since the dawn of social media platforms like YouTube, flashmobs have become more and more popular for wedding proposals. The special moments are caught on video and frequently go viral, like this flashmob at IKEA that caught this girlfriend by surprise and took the internet by storm.

What an awesome idea!

This IKEA in Wembley, London, helped to surprise an unsuspecting woman in her boyfriend’s flashmob proposal

Back in 2017, Robert stunned his girlfriend, Sara, with an epic flashmob proposal in the middle of the IKEA checkout area where dancers did a routine to the most perfect engagement songs.

You may be thinking why IKEA? There’s a very good reason that Robert chose the furniture super-store, the two actually met there so he thought it would be good to bring it back to the place where it all started.

You can see surprised shoppers strolling by as three dancers’ start breaking it down to ‘Single Ladies’ by Beyonce

Confused people start gathering when the popular song comes on, that’s when three dancers begin performing a routine and Sara has no idea what is going on.

After the girls dance for a bit, three male dancers join them as the song switches to ‘Marry You’ by Bruno Mars. The six professional dancers begin dancing as couples, flawlessly gliding across the IKEA checkout area together.

All the dancers perfectly remain on cue, mimicking each other every step of the way

At 3:13 into the video, the girl dancers leap onto the back of the males while the guys spin them around and they fist pump the air. These dancers put on a spectacular show, bouncing around the store with some jaw-dropping choreography.

By now, a huge group of onlookers has gathered to watch the sensational flashmob, with many of them pulling out their phones to catch a video of their incredible moves. Sara still has no idea that the people are dancing for her, but Robert nervously waits in anticipation.

When it comes to the part of the Bruno Mars song where he says “I think I wanna marry you,” the male dancers drop to one knee while the females act surprised

They continue dancing as couples for the rest of the performance and let’s face it, Robert couldn’t have picked a better song for a proposal. He also picked an amazing set of dancers to bust a move to the popular wedding song.

The song begins coming to an end and Robert gets ready for the big moment, he’s also enlisted some IKEA employees to help him complete the surprise.

As soon as the song ends, 5 IKEA employees come out holding signs and now Robert is the one down on one knee

The dancers end the song by acting out a proposal again, but now it’s Roberts’s turn! He gets down on one knee and Sara is completely shocked, she puts her hand over her mouth in pure disbelief. Directly behind Robert is 5 IKEA employees holding signs that read: “Will You Marry Me, heart”

No wonder this brilliant flashmob went viral, kudos to Robert for going above and beyond for the woman he loves. You can tell Sara had no clue this was going to happen, and she immediately says yes. To see the heartwarming display for yourself, watch the video below!
