If you are even remotely active on social media, then youโ€™ve heard of a little thing called the โ€œGit Up Challenge.โ€

Essentially, people film themselves dancing to Blanco Brownโ€™s hit song, โ€œThe Git Upโ€ and post it online.

The song is extremely catchy and involves instructions on how to dance to it within the lyrics.

People have used this song to film many funny dance videos, as well as some sentimental daddy-daughter dance videos too.

After seeing a few of these videos circulate, a YouTuber by the name of Officer Nae Nae decided to get involved and create a very unique version.

The concept was simple enough: have someone dance to โ€œThe Git Upโ€ after getting pulled over and asked to perform a sobriety test in front of a cop.

In the video below titled โ€œGit Up Challenge โ€“ DUI EDITION,โ€ you can watch as a young kid gets stopped by a police officer.

The song starts to play as the cop walks up to the window.

He leans towards the driver and asks him if heโ€™s been drinking.

When the kid replies that he hasnโ€™t, the cop tells him to get out of the car and perform a test anyway.

Now, at this point, it would be easy to believe that the kid is about to break into the โ€œGit Up Challengeโ€ himself.

However, itโ€™s not the kid who starts dancing, but the cop!

He sits back on the hood while the cop shows him what he wants him to do in order to prove that he isnโ€™t drunk.

While attempting to walk a straight line, the cop also displays some awesome dance moves that go along with the lyrical instructions of the song.

The cop goes through everything that he wants to see from the allegedly drunk kid and then gives him the chance to prove his innocence.

Once the kid starts to dance, however, you can see immediately that he has in fact been โ€œdrinking.โ€

The cop and the kid proceed to dance around with each other while the kid proves over and over again that he is unfit to drive.

At one point, the kid even falls into the copโ€™s arms.

The two of them dance around in a circle as the lyrics in the song say to go, โ€œRound, round, round and round you go.โ€

They also stumble to the right and to the left every time that Blanco Brown says to dance that direction in the song.

Eventually, of course, the song ends and the cop is left with no choice but to arrest the young driver for drinking and operating a motor vehicle.

This video is a hilarious twist on a very trendy dance craze.

You can check out countless more videos of this type that will do everything from make you laugh to warm your heart.

But since youโ€™re here, definitely watch this one first.
