If you’ve ever seen any of The Makeover Guy’s videos, you know that he changes lives – and this video is no exception.
A woman named Tracy drove two and a half hours to see Christopher Hopkins aka The Makeover Guy. She was turning 53-years-old in a couple of weeks and felt like her hair just wasn’t as voluminous as it once was and she was feeling it was a little drab.
“I want to feel great again,” is what Tracy first told The Makeover Guy.
Wanting to get a bit of “sass and spice” back in her life, Tracy knew that Christopher would be the perfect man to help her with a transformation. It was a new year and she wanted to have a fresh, new start.
Tracy said she would normally never trust anyone to do whatever they want to her look, but since Christopher is an artist, she put full trust in him. Why? Because she’s an artist herself.
Tracy spends her time painting absolutely gorgeous works of art. You can view her meticulously detailed and beautiful pieces on her website. She was very excited to have another fellow artist use her as their canvas.
Tracy complained that her natural hair is very curly, so she’s been trying to grow it long, which has been a battle. She normally straightens her hair but has become bored with it and feels “it does nothing for her.” Would The Makeover Guy be able to help revive Tracy’s work?
“I’m classic, but yet can be an artsy side, and can be a romantic side, so I like versatility,” Tracy says.
Christopher jokingly tells Tracy that he’s going to give her a pixie cut, which is a very, very short hair cut, and she recalls a time back in 7th grade where she had that same traumatizing haircut.
But soon, The Makeover Guy’s incredible work is revealed. Tracy returns to the camera with a brand new look with a shoulder-length, deep brunette bob. She looks absolutely stunning.
Tracy is beyond thrilled with her new look as she shakes her head back and forth, showing off her gorgeous chocolatey locks.
Tracy can’t seem to wipe the smile off of her face when looking at herself in the mirror. She says that she hasn’t had hair that short since 7th grade (probably the grow out of that pixie cut!), but this time, it appears that she’s having a much better experience.
“If you ever want to do something, or if you’re in a rut, do this,” Tracy says. “It’s worth it.”
Tracy’s goal for her 53rd birthday was to feel great again, and judging by the look on her face, we’d have to say she’s feeling pretty darn good. And, of course, she looks absolutely stunning. Such a knockout!
