Adorable toddler's potty talk has daddy crying from laughter
No wonder itโ€™s gone viral. This is the cutest potty training video Iโ€™ve ever seen!

Potty training can test the mettle of even the most patient parent. Itโ€™s often one of the more difficult tasks of early parenthood, aside from wrestling wired kids into bed for a nap or nighty-night.

Some kids figure out how to successfully move from big kid diapers to character undies right off the bat. Others need lots of reminders and help.

This rite of passage isnโ€™t for the faint of heart.

Some parents use stickers, charts and incentives to reward their childโ€™s potty training efforts. Dad Greg DeVito has heart-t0-heart chats with his son Matt while the two-year-old spends time on the toilet potty training.

A video of their latest chat in the bathroom has gone viral and people canโ€™t stop cracking up over little Mattโ€™s potty-training antics.

Dani DeVito was recording Matt and Greg chilling in the commode when suddenly, Matt breaks out into this crazy guy routine with a weird voice. She thought it would be hilarious to share it with friends and family on her Facebook page, but itโ€™s since exploded all over the internet much to her surprise.

โ€œI donโ€™t even know how this started. I took the video Tuesday or Wednesday night and uploaded it on Thursday before I went to bed. After I did it, I thought, โ€˜Oh man, this video is kind of funny. I probably should have waited until the morning.โ€™ Then, on Friday, it just blew up, and my phone has not stopped sending me notifications since then.โ€

The Oct. 24 video shows Matt sitting on the potty-training toilet ring with his shirt pulled up, striped socks covering his feet. Greg is sitting on the ground in front of him. Theyโ€™re having a chat about whatโ€™s unfolding in the bathroom when Matt hilarious declares in this dark, spooky voiceโ€ฆ

โ€œI didnโ€™t poop. I peed.โ€

Greg is caught off guard by the change in his sonโ€™s voice and the new persona heโ€™s suddenly taken on.

โ€œWait, you didnโ€™t poop?โ€

โ€œNo, I peed.โ€

โ€œI thought you pooped, too.โ€

And back comes the crazy-sounding voiceโ€ฆ

โ€œI didnโ€™t poop, I peed.โ€

Greg cannot contain his laughter and starts cracking up. Heโ€™s laughing so hard he starts crying. Instantly, Matt is alarmed.

โ€œYou sad daddy?โ€

โ€œNo Iโ€™m not. Iโ€™m trying so hard not to laugh Iโ€™m crying. Itโ€™s funny. Youโ€™re a funny guy.โ€

Just to make sure he understood Mattโ€™s predicament correctly, Greg asked one more timeโ€ฆ

โ€œDid you poop?โ€

And Matt uses that Darth Vader-sounding voice once more, causing Dad to crack up all over again.

โ€œNo I didnโ€™t poop I peed.โ€

While giggling together, Greg and Matt high five. Dani told the West Virginia News that she nor Greg know why Matt started doing the voice, but theyโ€™re glad they caught the moment on camera and shared it with others.

โ€œIt was a one-time thing and he was probably saying it for about two minutes before I even got my phone out. We donโ€™t know where the voice came from. We have no idea. Heโ€™s just a goofy kid. He says it all the time now because heโ€™s randomly seen the video with us, but itโ€™s not a normal occurrence by any stretch of the imagination.โ€

Even more surprising to the family is that celebrities like Kristen Bell and Alyssa Milano have shared their bathroom video on social media.

โ€œItโ€™s absolutely unreal. I feel like Iโ€™m living somebody elseโ€™s life. Every time I think that itโ€™s starting to slow down, something else happens. I think Kristen Bell shared it overnight, and then I was getting screenshots of Alyssa Milano sharing it. Someone saw it on the Weight Watchers app news feed. Itโ€™s just unreal.โ€

Fortunately, two-year-old Matt has no idea that heโ€™s a social media star. Heโ€™s just focused on finishing his potty training and entertaining his parents like the comical guy he really is.

โ€œ(Matt) has no clue. I tried to tell him that Anna from โ€˜Frozenโ€™ thinks heโ€™s funny, and he just agreed that he was funny. Heโ€™s a funny kid. Weโ€™ve got friends and family sort of spread out all over the place, so we use Facebook just like every other parent does, just to share our kid with the world, but we definitely never expected anything close to this happening.โ€

Watch little Matt in this hilarious potty training video. Kids can be so darn funny! He just might be a stand-up comedian in training.
