There are certain songs out there that you just can’t help but dance to. For some of us, we don’t even care who’s watching either.
Big hits like “Footloose,” “Shake It Off,” and “Uptown Funk” have gotten people young and old to release their inhibitions and bust a move. For the tiny tot in the video below – she really likes “All About That Bass.”
It’s a tune that people were going crazy for.
When Meghan Trainor’s song “All About That Bass” broke into the music scene, it didn’t take long for it to become a mega-hit. People of all ages were jamming out to the tune that seemed to promote positive body image with lyrics like “don’t worry about your size.”
Not only was it empowering to many, but it had an amazingly catchy beat as well. You could hear it being played at parties, in cars, and through neighbors’ living room windows.
Apparently, this one-year-old cutie really enjoyed it, too.
It’s pretty common to have kids at a young age become hooked on whatever music their parents like. If it’s what they’re being exposed to while driving around or on “cleaning day” – it seems to make sense.
The girl in the video must have listened to “All About That Bass” with her mom a lot. After all, she couldn’t help but put on her dancing shoes the moment it began to play.
Immediately the baby started swinging her arms and shaking her hips to the song. She then scooted around the patio unable to keep her feet still. And who could blame her, the song is full of energy!
The camera was rolling as the grinning one-year-old showed off her adorable dance moves.
But as we know, little ones can be easily distracted. So it’s understandable that she kept checking in on the family’s big dog that was lying inside of the patio door watching. It was like she had the best audience possible.
She’d shake her body dancing for several moments before heading back to look at the dog.
Maybe she was in need of a partner? Come on, open the door, mom!
The girl also kept looking up to see everyone’s reaction. Surely whoever was on the patio was beaming from ear to ear, as it’s impossible to not smile watching the scene. Mom’s laughter can be heard, too.
What’s so sweet is that after she’d stop for several moments to observe her surroundings, she’d go right back to dancing in her own world – and she didn’t care who was watching.
Dance on, you little Dancing Queen!
At such a young age, she loved a tune that many people couldn’t get enough of. In fact, those same people probably shook their hips to it, too.
The song can be heard loud and clear:
“Because you know I’m all about that bass – ’bout that bass, no treble. I’m all about that bass – ’bout that bass, no treble.”
It’s a good thing to teach kids young that they should be confident in themselves and their talents. It seems that this family has a little dancer on their hands, and perhaps a future star. Hopefully, she continues to practice her amazing moves wherever she is.
