Thereโs just way too much โawwwโ in this one. Who can resist toddlers and dogs?
A precious child was caught on camera giving a dog, who was nursing her pups, lots of love with kisses and soft petting. And itโs not easy approaching a nursing mom.
Theyโll usually snarl or turn away from you.
But somehow, this dog knew that the little girl was harmless and just wanted to give her some love. After all, itโs exhausting to give birth to that many pups.
The little girl is there to soothe and comfort the dog who does love the affection sheโs getting.
And to think toddlers donโt have the physical or emotional level of development to understand whatโs appropriate behavior around a dog and what isnโt.
Parents find it tricky enough to handle a growing child but add a dog into that mix and more often than not, itโs chaotic.
Or is it?
See, while toddlers are unpredictable and also uncoordinated, dogs do have the potential to hurt a child, even unintentionally. Especially one that is nursing her young.
But this child and the family dog are defying the odds.
Kudos to the girlโs parents for setting up the camera too!

The video may be in black and white but you can tell by the dogโs face that sheโs perfectly fine with the child stroking her head.
And what a sweet kiss too!
The little girl even reaches out to pet a puppy, and not surprisingly, the dog lets her touch the pup.
Her mom and dad really did a good job of establishing a relationship between these two. And in a few more years, theyโll be the best of friends too.

The love and the trust between these two are just so pure and so beautiful to witness. Itโs a really positive and healthy home so the pups are in good hands and paws too!
