For a two-year-old, being a flower girl is a tough job. For this toddler, it almost went terribly wrong.
The toddler was incredibly excited to attend a wedding for the first time.
And then she learned that she was going to be a flower girl.
Her mom and friends showed her videos of what exactly a flower girl does at a wedding.
The girl thought that it looked fun and was looking forward to throwing the petals on the floor.
Then the girl practiced with the parents a couple of times leading up to the wedding.
On the big day, the moment came for the girl to throw petals.
The band started playing music. The little girl walked to the beginning of the aisle with a basket full of petals.
She stopped near the end and threw a handful of petals onto the ground. So far, so good.
Then she toddled a little further down the aisle and threw another clump of petals to the floor. Her parents were so proud of her.
But then she started throwing several more handfuls of petals onto the same spot.
The crowd laughed. She was doing her job well, if a little unconventionally.
Next, she started moving forward again, throwing petals as she went.
Then she walked quite a distance without dropping any more petals.
After that, she dropped a small handful down. It was an uneven distribution of petals. But for a two-year-old, it was a good job!
Then the toddler reached the end of the aisle. She still had lots of petals in her basket. What was she going to do?
So once more, she started grabbing large handfuls of petals and began throwing them on the same spot.
The guests applauded the girl. But even after the applause had ended, she was still throwing petals onto the same spot.
Yes, the petals were on the floor. She had done what she needed to do.
Perhaps she could have focused on the entire aisle instead of a few spots and the very end. But no one was complaining. It was a very cute moment after all!
Luckily, one of the girl’s mom’s friends was filming this heartwarming moment.
The footage then appeared on YouTube, where it went viral. People have been saying things like this:

Then the guests point out her daddy at the end of the aisle. When the little girl recognizes him, she stretches out her arms and runs to him.

In another video, a flower girl is walking arm in arm with a page boy.
But when she spots her dad, she unlinks arms with the page boy.
Then the girl walks up to the dad and says hi to him. Unfortunately, the bride is only just behind her.
The dad points to the girl’s mom at the end of the aisle and tells her to walk there.
The little girl runs to her mom, allowing the aisle to be free just in time for the bride to make her entrance.
