These Disney movies aren't always rainbows and sunshine.

Has a movie ever made you cry, or at the very least, a little bit emotional? This has probably happened to you at one point or another and it is not entirely uncommon. I mean, we all know that movies like Titanic, The Notebook, or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind are guaranteed to make us sob pretty dang hard.

For this tiny toddler, what really got the waterworks going was The Chipettes of Alvin and The Chipmunks.

A few years ago, this toddler was riding in the backseat of her family’s car while watching this cartoon about a lost baby penguin. While watching, her parent noticed that she was beginning to well up, so they decided to set up a camera to capture it on tape.

Cruel of her parent, or just plain hilarious? Definitely the latter.

At first, the toddler seems okay, but it isn’t long until her face starts to change. All of a sudden, when the characters start going into song, the little girl’s face starts to scrunch up with sadness and the tears start streaming down her face.

While this is all happening, she is all nice and cozied up with blankets and her stuffed animals, which makes this moment even cuter (if even possible).

“The results are just adorable,” her parents wrote in the video’s description, referring to her waterworks.

What makes it even more adorable is that it doesn’t seem to be only sad tears. There are a few moments where the little girl smiles while crying, as if she’s sad but also happy. It honestly displays a lot of compassion for such a young person, which is so special to exhibit so early on in life!

The scene that made her cry is when the Chipettes find a lost baby penguin. The penguin has to be returned to its mother, so then they start singing a song that is very much a tear-jerker.

When the rest of the Chipettes join in for the song’s chorus is when the toddler really starts to lose control of her emotions. The song resonates with her so hard as she is clearly overwhelmed with so much empathy for the poor little lost penguin.

Crying definitely seems to be a healthy thing to do every now and then, so we totally encourage this little girl to let it all out. Feel your feelings, don’t bottle them up!

If you see a lost penguin, you have every right to cry. Or even if it is something that is happy… That can totally make you cry as well. Nothing is off the table.

We love that this little gal is embracing her emotions, as everyone should! And while it was definitely cruel of her parent to set up a camera on her, we have to say we are pretty glad that they did. This is hilarious to watch.

It will be even more hilarious for the little girl to watch when she isn’t so little anymore!
