“The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.” – Phil Jackson
At one point in our lives, almost every child would have dreamed to be good in ice skating. There is something magical about being able to dance on ice, it’s more than just a hobby for some – it’s a passion.
Seeing those amazing athletes and artists that can move so swiftly on ice is just so mesmerizing. It’s beautiful and it seems so magical as well.
Kids nowadays might even think they’re Elsa from Frozen! Ice skating is truly beautiful that is why there are so many children that are excited to learn how to do it – but is it really that easy?
Ice skating may seem easy at first but once you start wearing those skate shoes, you’d know how hard this task can become. Maintaining your balance with those shoes is just the first thing that you need to deal with.
Once you step on the ice – that’s where the real challenge starts. Unless your passion is strong enough, you might get discouraged from pursuing your dreams once you see how challenging this sport is.
Though, you need to remember that it’s not impossible to be good at it, in fact, our story for today centers around a group of 12 very young and beautiful children.
They are one of the teams from the Dallas Ice Skating Center, a world class school for all those who wish to be good in ice skating. According to their website:
“Once you step on the ice at the Galleria, you’ll discover it’s truly the most unique and coolest ice skating experience around. With hundreds of stores, shoppers and restaurants, we put you in the center of it all. So, take a lesson, have a private party or just go for a spin.”
Whether you just want to spend time relaxing and doing your hobby of ice skating or you want to learn how to be good at it – this school has something for you.
True to their words, this group of 12 little girls proved that they are really good ice skaters for their age. Known as the “Snow Angels,” they are focused and dedicated to their performance.
The video was posted last 2016 for an event at the Beauty Live on Ice and they didn’t disappoint their audience and coaches.
Wearing blue and gold uniform with bows, these 12 girls did an amazing job doing their solo moves but definitely a better job at being a team.
Ice skating alone is already hard enough but to do a synchronized performance with other kids – now that’s tough!
Coordination, rhythm, being focused, and being a team player is just some of the qualities that these young ladies possess. Each one was aware of what the others were doing and that’s very important in this type of performance.
They danced to the songs Cheerleader, Uptown Funk, and Fight Song and never did they get distracted.
For their age – they have already given their audience a world-class performance and surely, their parents and coaches would be so proud of them!
Don’t forget to watch their full performance and tell us what you love the most about it!
