Tiny dancers hilariously improvise recital moves when they forget what’s next
They did an amazing job of going with the flow and loving their time on stage!

Ballet dancing is harder than it looks! Those elegant ballerinas aren’t born in pointe shoes, but they often start very young before making it all the way to the National Ballet.

Kids can start dancing as young as two years old if you can believe it. But if we’re being serious, classes for this age group are more about helping the kids socialize and get them into a routine than anything else.

Also, it’s pretty fun to dress a toddler up in a tutu!

Baby ballerinas spend their time learning how to do some very basic moves (and whether or not they retain that knowledge for the next year is another question), but their recitals are always so charming to watch.

They may not be the most precise or technical dancers… but they’re definitely some of the sweetest!

These four little angels were ready for their big night. Their first stage performance!

Just as the video starts, a woman with a newborn baby walks across the stage. She dips behind a curtain while the little girls are all twirling around to their own tune. This is just before their adorable routine descends into chaos.

The audience murmurs and laughs, basically saying “awwww”, as the girls bounce to the back of the stage and take their positions.

When the music starts to play, they come leaping forward, raising their hands up and spinning around like true ballerinas.

I don’t believe they’re too focused on the routine in place, I think they’ve basically just come to the stage to show their friends and family what they’ve learned.

Which is all we want to see anyway!

One little girl in particular is showing off all her favorite moves, and inspiring the other girls to do the same.

Like a ripple effect, they move around the stage, spinning around one by one, before congregating together again.

Every now and then they’ll all look to their right, seeking direction from their ballet teacher who is waiting in the wings. She must be so proud, these girls are adorable!

There are many many young dancers who get on stage for the first time and freeze… but not these little ones! They are loving the limelight.

The teamwork here is impeccable. They’re all helping each other remember the steps as they go! I was convinced there was no routine, but here they seem to be looking to each other for tips.

All helping each other get through the dance step for step.

And definitely doing a little improvising along the way.

One little girl had her fun, but is definitely ready for it to be over when the music stops. The audience cheers and the girls take their little bows, but one of them is headed towards the wings as soon as she can.

Some of the girls find the audience too loud – but they’ll have to get used to it for when they’re professionals!

They all did so well, I’m proud and I don’t even know them! Too cute.

The video was posted to YouTube and gained thousands of views. These little girls have more fame than most of us can claim, and they’re still toddlers!
