Every dog breed has its own characteristics but some stand out more for their uniqueness. One that can be placed in this category is the Tibetan Mastiff. They are considered to be extremely intelligent. Although often called the gentle giant of the canine world they do need a firm owner and proper training. For the most part they are child friendly and a good majority of them get along with cats. Their weight can run between 80 to 150 pounds. They are heavy shedders as they have a double coat but this only takes place once a year. Here is a collection of these beautiful dogs each showing their own personality.

It is hard to tell if this one is pup as there is so much hair but he is certainly acting like a baby. It would be a wise idea to touch his cuddly.

With the fur coat this guy is wearing the cold weather will have no effect on him whatsoever. Kind of makes you envious doesn’t it.
5)That’s One Furry Family
Hard to say which is the furriest here but everyone will admit that they make for one adorable family.

These two look like they were made for each other. He couldn’t look more proud and she obviously is impressed.

It’s obvious that this dog absolutely loves his little owner and that she is not the least bit afraid of him or his size.

No matter what the relationship is between these two they make for one fine looking pair. They make the little one with them look so small in comparison.

Okay this not one of those circumstances where you would want to call a bluff. It is hard to say whether those teeth or just the sheer weight of this guy is going to do you the most damage.

It is hard to believe how little these guys are when you take in the size of Mom here. Chances are each and every one of them will be adorable.

It appears as though these two are trying to decide whether its time to venture out on their own and see what the world has to offer them. Not too sure though.

Its okay. At first glance a lot of people take this dog for lion and its easy to see why.

Not too sure what this young fellow is carrying but it looks like it could be a rolled up diaper. Maybe he has just become potty trained.

A first glance it may look as though it’s a piece of paper that is stuck on his face, but actually it is tongue. A stark contrast from the color on his coat.

These three look like they could be partners in crime, or maybe they are a take on the three tenors. Either way they look like they are best pals.

No it’s a very impressive Tibitan Mastiff, and he is not over grown. It is not uncommon to grow to this size.

This strapping young fellow is pretty agile on his feet, and he has some pretty impressive dance moves. Maybe a new trend in the making.
