It feels like when we walk in the street, we’re all just trying to stay out of each other’s way. We avoid eye contact, we rush past each other, and sometimes we fail to see someone who is struggling and truly needs help.

Enter these three fine boys, who came across an elderly couple in some serious need.

This act of kindness is guaranteed to warm your heart.

The couple was struggling to get in their car when these three boys were walking by. Luckily they noticed and despite not knowing who these people were, jumped in to help without even thinking twice.

An officer nearby even captured the act on camera, which quickly became viral and inspired viewers all over the world.

The names of the three men are Joc Koe Stoe, Marty, and Freddie G, and they were at a gas station in Williston, Florida, simply taking a break to buy chips and soda when they spotted the couple.

The elderly couple is Rose and David Griest, who were en route to Orlando for Rose’s medical appointment.

They too were just taking a break at the gas station. Everything seemed to be going fine until they actually tried to get back inside their SUV. That was when real trouble ensued.

The challenge occurred mostly just because of old age. David is over 100-years-old while his wife, Rose, is 101-years-old. According to Joc Koe, who is a mere 26-years old, they saw the old couple having problems and immediately jumped in. There was no hesitation.

As you can see in the video (below), Rose was shaking and could barely even stand. Two of the three young men helped her inside, while the other handled the walker before giving it to David, who seemed to be having a slightly easier time.

While this was taking place, a police officer happened to stop by and was in awe, eventually deciding to capture it on camera. She was going to step in and offer help of course, but the three young men clearly had it under control and everyone felt safe.

The officer was Kanesha Carnegie of the Levy County Sheriff’s Office and actually, the three were locally known rappers. Officer Carnegie knew they were good guys in the neighborhood and during an interview with Fox 5 DC, she stated:

I know these men from the neighborhood, and I wanted them to have that moment to show who they really are.

After uploading the video she took to her Facebook, it went viral and earned over 4.9 million views.

Rose and David’s grandson, Tommy, also shared that had they seen the video they would have been very pleased. However, they do not use social media (we guess Facebook is not for people who are 100-years-old!).

Of course, it has a happy ending. The three boys were able to get Rose back in the passenger seat and then David quickly expressed his gratitude. He took his walker from one of the rappers and wished them luck and blessings. He also quickly slipped in “I’m a hundred years old!”

It’s no doubt impressive that David and Rose are still up and traveling on their own, and it’s so heart-warming to see that there are good samaritans out there who will always catch them if they’re in a bit of a bind. Watch the video below and spread the love!
