A couple blew people out of the water with their dance performance at a swing dance festival in Germany. It was so amazing that people cannot stop talking about it.
The two have even developed a following as they dance their way through other festivals and events.
The festival
During the Rock That Swing Festival, Chandrae Roettig Gomez and Stephen Sayer performed a shag/swing routine with a shared speed and skill that would be hard to match by anyone, other than possibly a hummingbird.
Mere humans may as well give up now. This duo blows all competition out of the water. They really are some of the best swing dancers we have ever come across.
Bringing back some forgotten moves
The festival is held to showcase dance styles from the 1920s through the 1950s. They keep these dance styles alive, and in a few cases, remind us of what we’re missing by leaving some of these dance moves in the past.
The event brings in talented dancers from all over the world, but they never mentioned just how astoundingly talented some of their dancers could be.
The dance
Once the music started, these two never stopped. Moving in unison, their feet were going so fast and for so long that it was impossible to keep up, even just watching them. They continued their high-energy dance for the entirety of the song.
The members of the audience were stunned.
The reaction
It wasn’t just the audience at the festival who noticed.
The video, uploaded by the Rock That Swing Festival producers, has been seen more than seven million times (it’s currently inching towards eight million) and has more than thirty thousand likes.
Everyone who has seen the video has been left completely stunned. The comments are full of awe, admiration, and just plain old astonishment at what can only be described as a near-impossible performance:

A few more pertinent details
The two dancers are so amazing together than some have wondered if they are an “item” both on and off the dance floor. The answer to that is actually no.
In 2016, the Barcelona Shag Society posted a congratulatory message for Chandrae on her marriage, but her other half wasn’t Stephen on that day. She married one very lucky Jorge Gomez.
