Kids are full of surprises. From the things that they say and the things that they do, they’re unpredictable.
They have a way of saying things that, even if they aren’t necessarily nice or even appropriate, are pretty hilarious.
Oftentimes, they mimic things that they see and hear but they have such a way of putting their own spin on it in ways that only a child can.
Continue on to see some of the best things kids have said. They’re truly wise and downright amazing.
The imagination on this one! At just 4-years-old he understands the luxury of both good food and being carried around. Enjoy it while it lasts, kid.
Well that’s oddly awesome. Many young girls get upset when their name is shortened from Elizabeth to Lizard. Usually because other children tease them. But not this powerful young lady. Right on, little one! Right on.
It’s important to look your best when celebrating your best friend’s birthday. You don’t want them to look back at the photos and think you didn’t care! This girl gets it.
4) For the Love of Pancakes
Yes! Pancakes are only the best food on the planet and the only food worthy of replacing everything else on the face of the earth.
That includes hugs.
This is just the sweetest. There’s nothing like the love between siblings. It’s also impressive that this 7-year-old knows about marine biology! Sort of.
It’s great how children seem to know the power of love. It’s innate in such young humans. I hope this young child always remains pure with their love.
Because a week is forever in kid time! If you disapear on them, they will always think you were miserable somewhere without them. And let’s face it. You were.
8) Teacher Appreciation Post
If that’s what it takes for them to pay attention, so be it! And we wonder how children get so clever. Those darn teachers.
Now that’s the spirit! Love is love and (adult) humans can be awful sometimes. This kid knows what they want in life and don’t care what you have to say about it.
It really is a small world! This may not be the example to prove it but I like your thinking!
We love to see kids using their mind!
This one has advanced to one of the best levels in life – realzing that tacos are everything. They are always welcome. Always.
12) Shamed by a 5-year-old
You don’t lie on cake! Everybody knows that! Do better, people!
This child may never trust again. Birthdays will be especially difficult.
13) Choose Your Family and Your Meals
It’s all about the comapny you keep and the feed you eat! That’s what keeps people together. Oh and love too, I suppose, but mostly food!
Awww! I would wipe my tears with your spider tissues any day. Now I wish I were a spider so I woudn’t be crying like a baby.
It might not be your name but time heals all wounds! The bright side is when you’re an adult, you can change your name to anything you want. Don’t stop dreaming!
I know the feeling. It’s called letting yourself down. It doesn’t hurt any less when you get older but you learn from you mistakes and make less of them!
Ouch! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
(places glasses back on the child so you feel better about yourself).
Great advice! When it does, I want to at least be able to say I had some mouth-watering cheesecake before I blew up.
What would you eat?
True that! Keep that mindset as you get older! She’s smart, independent, and confident already. Some adults still struggle to get to where she is!
A lot of us know this feeling all too well when we go on our lunch breaks. Break the habit, kid! You don’t want to waste time counting down the minutes when you could be enjoying them! Every last one counts.
Haha! How many adults still say this? “I’ll be right there. Just have to put some pants on.”
Another kid quote I’d hate to be on the receiving end of. At least Noah listens to his mom! She can be proud of that.
Essentially, you don’t know how to have fun. Or you just don’t know how to color semi within the lines. Or worse, you don’t know your a,b,c’s well enough. All are travesties in a child’s eyes.
Welp, you’ll get the chance in about nine years. Then you’ll change your mind like the rest of us. It happens.
So close! We’ll give Cain a point anyway. We’ve heard what happens when he’s been short-changed before.
Burn! In other words, you can’t sit with us otherwise!
I don’t know what I would do if a kid said that to me. Probably cry. Yeah, cry.
Happens everyday. “Remind me of what I just said,” is what a lot of adults say. You’ll fit right in, youngster.
Wow. That is so incredibly nice. It’d be pretty amazing to be that child’s friend.
We are not worthy!
This a lot of our mindsets! It was mine when I was a kid. Usually the book gets us a lot more than other people do.
I’m late looking for nothing nowhere. This doesn’t go away. It just goes from being late because you were actually doing something to being late just to be late.
This is all of us! But let’s face it, if we aren’t needed enough, we would go crazy.
Aw, what a nice way to tell someone that there is a bug on them without freaking them out. I’ll have to try this sometime. But I freak out myself at the sight of an insect so it may not work.
They have a point. Just look at all of the poses. Now, imagine them sped up.
See?
When you’re so fed up that you beg for punishment… Yep, throw away the key while you’re at it.
The perfect analogy. How does a 5-year-old know such things? He could write a book full of wise sayings.
Very true! We might not be able to control the happenings of the day but we do have control over our response.
Such insight these kids have!
Don’t we all? It’s just a lot funnier when a kid does it. It’s always fascinating to realize how many words they know.
This is why you don’t let kids play on your phones! Now, everybody in their school and the distant relatives twice removed are going to know, you’re on a desperate search for a partner.
That you will. A kid’s life is
the life.
It’s nice to see there’s still one kid who isn’t in a rush to grow up!
A lot of us feel this… We want the help without the headache! Can you blame her?
How many of us do this? A lot! Our moms know us better than anyone else, including ourselves sometimes!
This kid knows the secret to a happy life. And it’s awesome. I’ll need a crayon and a blank wall to jot down these notes.
43) It’s Not Just One Thing
It’s a lot of things but you’re not making it easier!
This kid sure is hangry. At least they’re doing it right.`
And that folks, is how it’s done. She dropped her horrible husband for a wonderful wife.
Moving on!
45) Feels Like a Lifetime in Jail
Detention… can feel like forever. We have time to reanalyze our lives and our decisions. This kid took it to heart and vowed to use their time wisely.
I wish I knew, little Britton. It’s still a guessing game for a lot of us. Even those buttons that say things like “popcorn” rarely get it right.
They will always be there! You just have to learn how to navigate them. There’s something refreshing knowing that kids feel the same.
Too much of a good thing can be bad. Especially that darn marinara. It’s so messy and can leave you comatosed if you have too much.
Lucky for this kid, life if full of different colors and flavors of ice cream. Be prepared to be overwhelmed. It’s one of the many challenges of being an adult.
There you have it. This kid knows the key to a happy life. Some of us are still trying to figure it out.
But really, it’s that simple.
Aren’t kids the greatest?
We think so.
