Pregnant Women Smoking and Drinking

Mothers back then might have unknowingly decreased your oxygen and caused fetal alcohol issues while you were still in the womb. If you made it out okay, you probably ended up sitting on your mom’s lap or crawling under the table while she had an afternoon drink and smoke with a friend, even while pregnant with your little brother. Of course, our mothers didn’t mean to harm us; they just didn’t know the risks at the time.
