“The Greatest Showman” is an original musical with an all-star cast. It features Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson, and Zendaya. The highly entertaining and moving film was inspired by the story of P.T. Barnum, a determined individual who rose from nothing to create an incredible circus. Inspiring and brimming with talent, the musical earned a number of nominations and bagged awards for its soundtrack.
Because the OST also seemed to greatly resonate with the audience, it comes as no surprise that talented singers the world over continue to share covers of the songs in the film.

Musicality is a Chicago-based youth vocal group. They love “The Greatest Showman” and were eager to cover “This Is Me”, a song that they say inspires them to continue doing what they love, and stand tall despite encounters with people who find it easy to judge them and expect little from them.
In a room with curtains and framed paintings, they arranged themselves in different formations throughout the duration of the song.
The setting, the outfits, and the arrangement of Musicality’s video added quite an artistic touch to the cover.
It began with a female member singing the first part beautifully.
Then two more members of the group each sang lines from the first part of the song.
It was a great introduction to what would be an amazing, creative production.
Clear and strong, their voices filled the room and blended harmoniously as the other talented singers in the choir slowly joined in.
On the group’s YouTube channel, they gushed about how Keala Settle, the actress who played Lettie Lutz in the film, shared Musicality’s cover on her Twitter page.
“Also, literally crying that Keala Settle retweeted this on her Twitter page!!!!! Her and the cast of this show are so inspirational to people everywhere….the message is universal, and beautiful!”
The lyrics were sung so beautifully by the choir that in the comments section, users couldn’t resist praising not just the entire group for their talent, but their favorite choir members, too.
The empowering message of the song was highlighted by the magical voices of the members of Musicality.

The story of the film speaks of persistence amidst hardships. It shows the reality of life and how impactful trials can really be, but with dauntlessness and a spirit that refuses to give up, wonderful things can happen.
It’s a film that will surprise you; something you’ll enjoy and hopefully take inspiration from. It doesn’t hurt that “The Greatest Showman” has quite a cast, too. And thanks to incredible talents like the members of Musicality, the musical’s empowering message and the songs featured in it continue to change lives by promoting hope, positivity, and grit.
