On The Voice Kids UK, one girl absolutely caught the attention of all three coaches and made them all turn for her after hearing her amazing performance. Her rendition of Queen’s “Somebody To Love” was spot on and truly marvelous that it is something we all cannot forget.
Jessica R was 13 years old when she decided to grace the stage of the The Voice Kids UK. Like the rest of the people who auditioned, she hoped to become the show’s winner. When she reached the center of the stage, Jessica was clearly nervous but she knew just what to do.
Glancing at her family who were watching from the sidelines, Jessica’s confidence grew stronger and so, she started her performance and wished that the judges find her talent worthy of moving on to the next round of the competition. Her son choice is none other than Queen’s “Somebody To Love” and everyone knew just how difficult her choice of song was.
However, as soon as Jessica started to sing, the crowd went wild with applause! They were completely taken by Jessica’s talent and stunning presence. Everyone watching the girl seemed to be coaxing the coaches to turn for her. She was that good!
As it turned out, Jessica should never have worried because Pixie Lott, one of the coaches, was already hooked from her very first note and was quick in pushing her button to see the face behind the exquisite voice. Pixie was so happy to be the first one to turn for Jessica. She even danced when she saw Jessica’s face and heard her sing amazingly!
She may have seemed a bit shy, but this girl was definitely out there to get the prize. Her vocal chops were amazing and with her determination and fighting spirit, she was definitely a force to be reckoned with in the competition.
The young singer was truly impressive. We all know that her song choice was not easy to perform and yet, she proved to everyone that she has what it takes to sing such a powerful song. Right before her song ended, the rest of the coaches decided to turn their chairs because young Jessica nailed the last note!
Jessica’s song almost ended when coaches Will.i.am and Danny Jones decided to turn their seats for her. It was a totally unexpected thing for the young singer and she was totally psyched to see such a reaction to her audition.
Probably the most memorable comment of the night came from coach will.i.am who said:
“I think the police are on their way here now. Because you just killed it.”
It was definitely a surreal moment for young Jessica. That night, she ultimately decided to join Danny Jones’ team.
Despite that fact that Jessica did not emerge a the grand winner of the show, she absolutely is a talented girl who opened the show’s entire season with a huge bang. Jessica is an amazing performer and her exceptional gift is inspiring. We can certainly hope for a bright future for this superb singer.
