Ever since the pandemic hit us, people have really gotten in touch with their creative side. While being stuck at home with schools and work closed, many of us found ourselves doing projects to keep ourselves occupied. 14-year-old Macaire Everett decided that she wanted to make chalk drawings incorporating her little brother Cam (short for Camden).
โAnd we had all this chalk sitting in the garage that we werenโt using, so I pulled it out and said, โCam, we are going to do a chalk drawing. Iโm going to draw some balloons and you will be holding on them,'โ Macaire recalled.
At first, she wanted to do a drawing a day until school started โ but since that never happened, the art project continued for 100 days.
โWithout Camden, itโs a drawing. With Camden itโs art,โ she said.
Her project went to Instagram and itโs titled โMacaireโs Museโ โ take a look at some of her incredible work in the following slides.
1) The original chalk drawing
Titled โA Boy and His Bunny,โ this was Macaireโs very first chalk drawing that kicked off the spark of creativity. Itโs so simple but so incredible. We just love how Cam has become a part of the art.

Here, Macaireโs drawn a fishing boat for her brother Cam. He sits on the edge with his fishing pole in the water, unaware that heโs going to catch a big olโ shark! Watch out, Cam!
