A mother has taken to the public to make a desperate plea for the return of a teddy bear โ but this wasnโt just any teddy bear. It played the recording of her sonโs voice who passed away in February at only 19 months old.
A woman named Jodi Lynn, in the Humberside region of the UK, recently lost her baby boy named Noah this past February when he died in his sleep. Obviously, the young 18-year-old mother was grieving the loss of her son.
After her son passed, she was grateful to have a teddy bear that would play a recording of her late sonโs voice.
The teddy bear also provided great comfort to Noahโs sister Alexiah โ it helped her cope with the loss of her baby brother. She could hear his voice every time she squeezed the bearโs hand.
Sadly โ the family was taking a bus from Anlaby Road to Boothferry in the town of East Yorks and they somehow lost the coveted teddy bear. The family was absolutely devastated. It was just a stuffed animal, but it meant so much.
After losing the teddy bear with Noahโs recording, his sister Alexia was extremely upset.
โItโs so upsetting and Alexiah is really upset. It was really comforting for her to have that bear because every time she got upset she would cuddle it so she could hear Noahโs voice. It helped her a lot after Noahโs death. Itโs really helped her to cope and if she hadnโt had it she would have been a lot more upset.โ
โI know that bear is out there somewhere and it would be great to find it. It would make my daughter so happy and she wouldnโt be sad anymore.โ
Even Noahโs grandmother wants the world to know how important this bear was to this grieving family.
โEvery time [Alexiah] is upset she will go and cuddle it and she will go โthatโs my brother, Noah.โ We are very desperate to find it for the sake of my granddaughter and for the sake of the fact it is so personal. Itโs got my grandsonโs voice in it so itโs absolutely no use to anyone.โ
The bear was from the Build-A-Bear store, it is brown and wearing a shirt that says โI love you.โ
