John Lindo can be described as big, tall, and handsome but one thingโs for sure; many will comment that he doesnโt have the required body shape or size to be a professional dancer.
FYI, John Lindo is in fact a professional dance instructor, a judge, coach and Liberty Swing Dance Championships Event Director.
For years, Lindo has been showing his amazing dancing skills that leaves his audience mesmerized by his talent. He knows more than a thing or two about swing dancing because he has been hitting the dance circuit for more than 20 years. He may not look like the typical swing dancer but in this field, heโs a champion.

In the very special video, Lindo is participating in the famous North Atlantic Dance Championshipโs West Coast Swing Jack & Jill competition way back in 2008. The video is old but is considered a classic!
Jack and Jill competitions is a fun contest were dancers get assigned random partners and from there, they have to dance spontaneously to the music โ no practice, just pure talent!
We all have to agree how hard this task is, you need to learn how to work with your partner and come up with a dance routine that is flawless and enjoyable โ clearly, these two nailed it!
Not everyone can โconnectโ with their partner this fast, and be able to dance while complementing your partnerโs moves as well. Most of the time, weโd see that each dancer competing and not working together.
If youโre not familiar with the rules, youโd even think that these two rehearsed this number!
Not only has this dance floor genius won numerous Swing dancing competitions, but he is also a very well-known dance instructor, choreographer and competition judge.
