If you think her fame and celebrity has changed her, you would be wrong.
While this rising star could live anywhere, she chooses to keep her home in Scotland.
Susan Boyle was raised in West Lothian, Scotland. She was the youngest of nine children- five girls and four boys. Susan grew up sharing one room with two of her sisters. Susan’s official website states,
“The first thing she did when she received her first cheque from her record label was to purchase the council house so she could remain living in the home she grew up in.”
She may have kept the home she’s made roots in, but she’s definitely changed the leaves.
Susan has redone the majority of her childhood home to make it fully hers. The room Susan used to share with two of her sisters is now her dressing room. She might have changed her childhood home to her new needs but it does not erase the memories she and her family created.
She now gets ready in her old childhood room and can remember the memories.
The first room that greets Susan and her visitors as she opens the door to her house is her new piano room.
Susan jokes, “This is the piano room. That’s a giggle for a start because I can’t even do scales.”
Of course, everyone loves to see the Kitchen, and Susan’s does not disappoint.
Susan’s kitchen had just recently been remodeled and she should not regret this beautiful investment. Susan displays a gorgeous tea set against the modern cabinetry and decor.
People tend to spend a lot of their time in their kitchen, so it is a cool idea to put up pictures that mean the most to you in the kitchen.
Susan has a picture of herself and Pope Francis in her kitchen, which would be an amazing memory to remind herself of every day.

Susan goes to show off her living room next which is cozy and filled with memories.
She has photographs of her family and of huge moments in her career. Susan admits that this room had been a mess for a long time before getting redone. Her schedule keeps her away from her house a lot of the time and so she had not gotten around to its remodeling until recently.
Susan’s tour, especially her living room, shows that she is a lover of cute and small knick-knacks to decorate her house.
Susan keeps a bit of her privacy, as everyone should, and does not give a tour of her bedroom. Some rooms are people’s safe place and do not need to be seen by the world. She does let viewers know that she is not fully done with her house renovations and still has a spare room that hasn’t been redone.
Susan is just like everyone else, trying to fit in the time to get everything we want accomplished.
“Some people seem surprised that I choose to stay in my family home. Why shouldn’t I? I feel Mum is still here and there are so many good memories … I’ve spent most of my life in this house and I won’t move now, because I feel it’s part of my new history,” Susan told The Sunday Post.
