Music is a universal language.
We all have bad days. These days, a little cheer goes a long, long way. Something like a surprise singalong can truly change somebody’s entire week!
In fact, countless people from around the globe – from Germany to Tanzania to South Korea – participated in a morning of love set to a Bob Marley classic.
A morning of harmony.
18 countries were involved in this display of affection, with people featured in public transit systems around the globe. The YouTube video is titled:
“Bob Marley Unites Humanity in World’s Biggest Sing-Along”
Bob Marley’s impassioned words foster a loving environment. Set to the tune of “Three Little Birds,” 200 strangers came together in song and dance. Some people even shared flowers.
Seriously, just look at this beautiful flower. It’s going to be a good day, that’s for sure.
You smell that? That’s the smell of love!
The Monday commute has never sounded so sweet. Today, people will surprise you.
Canada, England, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Brazil, China, Singapore… the list goes on and on of countries that participated in the sing-along.
Life’s just better when love’s in the air and everyone comes together!
One single voice.
So I’m assuming you’re already familiar with “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley? Of course you are, you’ve probably heard it thousands of times.
What started as random people on their way to work or wherever ended up as a Monday morning lovefest.
One single voice calling out from the crowd can be all the spark that’s needed. That one single voice set things in motion.
“So we brought lyric sheets. and we’re having a singalong.”
The singing begins… in England… in Brazil… in Nigeria. Everywhere.
Most people are a little hesitant at first, but little by little people start joining in on Marley’s classic.
This day isn’t so bad after all. I guess every little thing is gonna be alright after all.
People of the world unite!
Out in Germany, they grab a guitar and some voices.

Is that guy wearing a tux and a bowtie? This is a big occasion, after all.
This Bob Marley Monday brought a little sunshine to everyone involved.
A single guitar and a few amateur vocalists go a long way!
These bus singalongs are a beautiful example of humanity across this world, in all cultures.
We’re not all that different, no matter where you’re from.
Greece also joined in on the festivities. The girl with the glasses turns around. She likes what she sees.
And she sees a lot of love!
Those glasses won’t be necessary here. All you need is your heart!
Wow, what a wonderful collection of performances.
