It’s a great way for dancers to exhibit their skills, take inspiration from fellow dance enthusiasts, and meet new international partners.
Called The UDC for short, more than 77 classes are offered over a period of 3 weeks. Best for intermediate and advanced dancers, the workshops are perfect for experienced dancers, teachers, and choreographers. You have to be at least fifteen years old in order to participate.

To give you an idea of just how incredible the Urban Dance Camp is, here’s Joseph Tsosh and Alisa Tsitseronova dancing their own choreography to Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me“.
The incredibly talented couple did more than just create steps that work perfectly with the beat of the timeless hit.
They took the lyrics and incorporated it into their choreography, highlighting not just their skills but the meaning of the song as well.
There were no dramatic introductions or buildups – the short dance number was straightforward, entertaining, and nothing short of impressive.
Joseph and Alisa looked like they were just having fun with it, making the dance even more refreshing to watch.
They couldn’t help but grin as they danced, and Josh even topped his moves with animated facial expressions.
Watching the couple dance may seem a bit intimidating – after all, they showed perfect synchronicity, each step was rhythmic, and the transition from one move to another was seamless. But because of how casually they went about dancing, dressed in comfortable clothing and just moving comfortably around a studio, the dance also looked inviting.
It’s enough to make you want to get up and learn yourself.
Apparently, dancing is a great way to see just how much chemistry you and your partner really have.
Clearly, Josh and Alisa’s was through the roof. Imagine how fun, romantic, and priceless it is to be able to just break out into dance with someone you share so much with.
This playful number really shows that dancing doesn’t always have to come paired with so much pressure. After all, every expert really was once just a beginner.
All you need to do is start. Dance, learn, and dance some more.
Music and dance have a wonderful way of inspiring people to have fun and maximize their potential. The trick is to set realistic goals, be receptive to learning, and most importantly, work hard and have fun.
Take your cue from Josh and Alisa. This power couple sure didn’t become amazing dancers overnight.
Because of their determination and resilience (and the cute way they go well together, even on the dance floor), they’re now a pair that a lot of fellow dancers look up to and learn a lot from.
If you feel like getting up and dancing, and shaking off whatever emotions are weighing you down, check out this delightfully entertaining number from Josh and Alisa.
