Most people don’t consider flying fun.
In fact, it can be pretty boring most of the time. People who fly often usually hate listening to safety instructions. They are always long and drawn out, and the flight attendant preaching them usually seems to be as bored as everyone else.
One flight attendant on a Southwestern flight from Dallas to Las Vegas decided he would mix things up a bit. His name is Nicholas Demore, and he was getting tired of boring flights just like everyone else. He had to find a way to make his job a little more fun. Little did he know he would soon be a viral sensation.
He couldn’t skip out on the safety instructions, but he could make them a little more entertaining.
He gave everyone a risky show and a sexy safety lesson. It had everyone on the plane cracking up, and it certainly took this flight from boring to hilarious in an instant. Passengers on the plane decided to pull out their phones and record the hilarious show. The laughter can be heard on the video, and it’s clear that everyone onboard is enjoying the act.
One passenger said in an interview:
“Everyone thought he was hilarious. He was funny throughout the flight.”
Of course, the other flight attendants also had a hard time containing their laughter, and it can be heard interrupting over the intercom.
Not that anyone could blame them. The sexy attendant didn’t stop with his safety instructions. After the show was over, he continued to make everyone laugh by strutting down the aisle like a supermodel. When he had to check seatbelts or assist passengers, he was sure to do that with a sexy bend and flip, as well.
Everyone seemed to be impressed by his sexy show because when it was finally over, he received a round of applause from everyone on the flight. Too often we see upsetting videos taken by passengers on planes. We forget that flying can be enjoyable.
Flight attendants are people, too, and just because a few of them misbehave doesn’t mean they are all that way.
As this attendant demonstrated in his Burlesque show, some attendants really do care about passengers and want them to have a good time. He could have just as easily delivered his safety directions in a monotone voice that bored everyone, but he chose to make people laugh.
Too bad more videos like this don’t find their way on social media. It’s much better to see people laughing and getting along than being drug off planes and fighting. Hopefully, nobody onboard this flight was too embarrassed and none of the children caught on to what was going on. And perhaps more flight attendants will go out of their way to make passengers laugh or at least make their flights more enjoyable.
Sometimes, all it takes is a few good laughs to help brighten everyone’s day.
Although there were only a few passengers onboard, we all get to enjoy the show thanks to the thoughtful few who made it a point to record the attendant and share it on social media. This will be a tough act to follow, for sure, but hopefully in a few weeks, we will all find ourselves laughing at someone else who is going out of his or her way simply to make sure other people are having fun.
Not all heroes wear capes; this one just happened to be wearing a Southwestern uniform instead. Who said flights had to be boring?
