Babies are usually smarter than we give them credit for. Sure, they can’t talk, but that can DEFINITELY be sneaky. Any parent knows this, but if you need a reminder, this kid has got you covered.
Jaden Michaels has a daughter who knows exactly how to manipulate her parents to get what she wants!
Parents with daughters know that this isn’t anything new. However, it just so happens that this instance was caught on camera and ended up TOTALLY going viral on TikTok.
Jaden is a country singer but her daughter may decide to go on to acting instead of music!
In the mornings, Jaden’s husband, Andrew, gets ready to go to work. For the little girl, it means hangout time with dad is over. Clearly, this is not to be tolerated and something must be done to keep him downstairs longer.
The little girl’s solution is to put on the waterworks!
As soon as she sees that her dad is about to leave her to get ready, she starts crying! Within seconds, she scrunches her face up like she just ate an entire lemon and squeezes her best crocodile tears out. As you will see, she is an absolute pro.
As she starts crying, it escalates into full-blown sobs!
You can probably imagine what happens next – her dad decides he doesn’t need to go get ready right this instant! The little girl has succeeded in her plan to keep her dad around for a few moments longer and they may have just reinforced a bad habit. We’re sure that that won’t come back to bite them later on, right?
Her mom precedes to call her a phony!
Both parents know EXACTLY what’s going on, but that’s the magic of it. Despite them knowing that their little girl is tricking them, they just can’t resist her cuteness. When you think of it that way, you see the pure genius of it all. Even with knowledge of the trick, it still succeeds – it’s the perfect con.
As soon as dad sits down, the tears immediately dry up and everything is back to normal.
This is truly a dangerous skill this little girl has learned. Once she got what she wanted, it was all nice and good and she instantly changed back to a happy little kid. Who knows what she will do with this superpower as she gets older – she may be unstoppable.

This little bit of separation anxiety is really normal for kids her age.
