When children see their younger siblings for the first time, they can experience a range of emotions.
Parents are usually filled with joy and happiness, but thatโs not always the case with little children.
It is normal for a child to react weirdly and in some instances feel disgusted by a newborn baby!
For children who arenโt ready for it, the sight of a newborn can often be a little bit unpleasant.
They can look rough for their siblings especially when they are only a few hours or days olderโฆand if theyโre worried that the new baby will get all the attention.
But no matter how siblings react, their reactions are always precious.

We all love our siblings. They are both our family as well as our friends. While some of us didnโt have the privilege of seeing how our siblings reacted to our birth, this little girl below had her big moment captured on video.
Fortunately, she greeted her younger one with lots of love!
Right away, it was clear the little girl was excited to meet her sister.
She probably knew that her mom was due any moment and that she would be greeting someone special. Children of a young age rarely understand the importance of a sibling relationship in the early stages, but this little girl seems ready and welcomes the younger one with a full heart!

The little girl is only 18 months old and the newborn, named Orla, is just a few days old. As it turns out, the baby had just come home after spending some time in neonatal careโyou can even see that the mother is still wearing her hospital wristband!
As Orla holds her little sisterโs hand, she realizes just how tiny it is.
Orla clearly wasnโt planning to store any of her love for laterโshe was ready to shower her sibling with endless affection!
She quickly hugs her sister, which is followed by lots and lots of kisses!
After that, her mom was laughing as she knew it was a very special moment for both of them.
The moment quickly turned emotional for her, which any parent could understand.
Orla then realizes that her sister has a tongue, and she quickly sticks hers out as well.
After watching this, itโs clear theyโll both treasure this memory when they get older.
Siblings share a very deep bond between one another.
They argue and fight with each other over little things, but in the end, they always love each other. In fact, we typically spend more time with our siblings over the course of our lives than we do with any other person!
